Miracle? Sometimes, we just come home.

Hey, E-4 with probably less than 8 years in: STOP HAVING KIDS FOR A WHILE. That will probably lessen your burden.

Are you asking them to stop farking their wives when they go home on permission?  Because we can't have them use birth control, can we?  That would be against the Good Lord's wishes.

Heh.

I'm actually happy for anyone coming back - I've been to dozens of homecoming ceremonies. Rarely will you find yourself in a room with so much positive energy.

However, it never fails: go ahead and ignore your leadership's advice. Marry your 17 year old HS sweetheart, or the girl you met at AIT, or, hell, marry that chica/mama-san you met at the back gate who blew you for a bucket of chicken. Much like having more than one child prior to making E-5 and/or your second enlistment, there's some consequences that accompany that decision. Things are probably gonna be harder for you than for someone who chose a little more wisely. This poor family is a good example.

There's a whole system in place to help in situations like this, which lets you know that no one's suggesting that people stop making choices that lead to hardships within a military family - people will be people. But it's important to remember that their situation in life(broke - even with tax-free base pay and the other deployment gimmies - and needing help with a family that's bigger than they can personally or financially handle) is created mostly by them.

5 bucks says that, at least once during this guy's time in, a member of his chain has said, "What the hell are you thinking?"

What are the consequences of having more than one child before reaching sergeant?

The husband's a dick for not telling his stressed-out wife that he was getting home early.

No money, fighting for housing on base with enough room or off-base for even more money you don't have, sleep deprivation, loss of oxygen, upset stomach.

Ugh, radio.

"Could you please ruin your special moment to tell all seven listeners who this 'mystery nanny' really is?"

/glad he's home
//glad they're all back together
///glad I chose to not pursue a broadcasting career
