"This blatant misuse of federal dollars to promote a fundamentally flawed law is extremely concerning, especially considering the extensive unknowns surrounding the coming launch and implementation of ObamaCare," Rubio wrote in the letter, addressed to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.  "Until critical questions can be answered regarding the availability and type of health insurance to be provided by ObamaCare, it is unconscionable to spend taxpayer dollars to promote and advertise ObamaCare plans that have yet to be finalized.

She should write back saying she has no idea what the fark "ObamaCare" is.

How do you explain the fact that after Obamacare, the rate of premium increase has been cut by more than half?

Also, repealing Obamacare wouldn't help the economy.  Throwing Republicans out of office would, though.

Coincidentally, this seems to also explain why Republicans oppose gay people so much.

My, what a weak sauce you have there.

The bill has been publicly available for quite a long time now. There have been many summaries of it posted online in various places. If you want to know what is in it and you do not, that's entirely your own fault. Don't blame others for your own willful ignorance. Take some personal responsibility.

My premiums were skyrocketing before the ACA so I'm not sure what you're point is.  Do tell us what the great republican plan was/is?

I think we should give ObamaCare a try.  You know, like we gave all those ridiculous Laffer-curve, trickedown economics ideas a try.

Yeah, he must be too, too pissed to write any letters about those.  Probably afraid he couldn't contain his anger.

So let me see if I get this right:  The GOP wanted an advertising campaign for Medicare part D, (Which was a giveaway to seniors trying to buy votes) but doesn't want any advertising for the ACA, which totally revamps the health care insurance industry?

What's in it:

-Extended benefits for college kids
-No denial of coverage for those with pre-existing conditions
-Everybody needs to, and will be covered, meaning no more ER visits for the uninsured (well, considerably less) at a cost to you and I.
-Preventive care
-80% of premiums must go to actual health benefits (claims)

Look, why don't you stop eating paste and start reading it?  It isn't tough.

And, fortuitously and with a bit of irony, health problems caused by the eating of too much paste will also be covered!

But seriously, we've already seen the lengths whackjobs will go to in order to keep this law from benefiting people, including themselves.  If it DOES work, the Republican party is finished at the national level for the next election, maybe two.

(I'd say longer, or comment about the state level, but people in this country are farking stupid).

The answer ought to be obvious - because the bed-wetting class has spent the last 3 years actively disseminating destructive misinformation on the ACA, and it's about time they be given easy access to some actual information.

To explain how it works to people that may not know.  But I guess it's easier to let people stumble around in the dark about it like the Bush administration did when they signed the Medicare Part D program into effect.
