he's still on the Eagles.  I'd say that's pretty close to rock bottom.

Too bad it hasn't ultimately ended like a movie with his death.

What debts does Russel have, last I heard he still is owed millions from the Raiders.

I'll be rooting for Vick Monday night.  Rooting for him to suffer a career-ending injury, that is.  He is a piece of sub-human garbage, and also the most over-hyped player I've ever seen in the NFL.  I remember when they used to put a red line over the line of scrimmage, "So we could see how far back behind the line he scrambles."  Who gives a fark about that?  One year he had more INTs than TDs, and either the worst completion % or passer rating in the league, and still made the Pro Bowl.  I don't give a shiat how many yards a QB rushes for.  He will never even get a whiff of a Super Bowl.  After he leaves the NFL, he will be back in jail and/or bankrupt in no time.

Fixed.

Well I use Mac/Linux...: After he leaves the NFL, he will be back in jail and/or bankrupt in no time.

My money's on bankrupt first, jail second, as a result of fallout from the bankruptcy.

And he will still get his contract paid out, it's guaranteed.

There are a lot of people who have never purposely swatted a fly or stepped on an ant.

I don't know if it's true for Vick but I personally know a person can change and have a better respect for all life.

In regards to settling debts - that is commendable but was probably more representative of a percentage of the total.

And by "overcoming the odds" you mean he was a great passer for one year.

Congratulations, Michael Vick: you're football's Brady Anderson.

I'm not going to root for the guy; what he did was unconscionable and requires being a sociopath.  But, he has served his time, and he's don everything asked of him by society to repay his debts, criminal and financial, and I suspect he will continue to work on the ethical side for a while if for no other reason than he understands his kids need a role model.  And for that, I can give some begrudging respect and not out-and-out hate him as a person.

As a QB, though, I continue to think he's overrated and easy to scheme against.

A horrible, long protracted death from rabies even.
