Destroying your only two brain cells via incessant huffing is no way to go through life, son.....

The answer depends entirely on whose urine and vomit you're covered in, it could be flawless victory.

I had a (severely depressed and thoroughly despondent) friend die while huffing cans of duster at his job.  His mom, who worked for the same company, was the person who found him dead.  I'm going to bed now.

2013-09-04 01:24:22 AM
where's that gold faced warriors guy?!

2013-09-04 01:24:59 AM
I've never understood why they don't use some inert gas, like nitrogen, in those cans.

2013-09-04 01:27:58 AM
I just bought a bottle at walmart a few wakes ago to clean my laptop. I had about half a can left and huffed it for shiats and giggles. Really quick weak high compared to nitrous balloons so yeah maybe 15 more would have been in order along with a 12 pack or so.

Not saying this guy doesn't need serious psychiatric help, but where I'm from, one just doesn't walk in to a store and purchase $100 worth of duster at a go.

If the cashier let him buy that much at one time, they need to be taken out back and beaten with a hose.

Ed Grubermann: I've never understood why they don't use some inert gas, like nitrogen, in those cans.

Because it wouldn't hold enough. You can buy cans of compressed nitrogen for preserving wine after the bottle is opened (apparently some people don't drink a whole bottle at a time). The cans are so light they feel like they are empty. To hold a reasonable amount in a thin-walled can you need something which will liquify at room temperature under reasonable pressure.

You could never get enough nitrogen in there is a gaseous state, and in a liquid state, well...

...you're gonna need a stronger can.

This wasn't his first air-duster binge of the day: Pry went to Kmart because he'd already exhausted the $100-worth of air duster he'd bought at Walmart earlier on Saturday.

Huffing air just makes you hyperventilate. Methinks the compound in question was more like a hydrocarbon.

$100 a day huffing habit? Jesus, kid, get a real drug at that point.

Wow, that's sad. I can't imagine getting to a point where spending $100 on spray cans seems like a good idea. You could get a crappy 1.75 ml bottle of anything and be out for the night.

Hell, I have a six pack of compressed air in my drawer now and I can't even imagine huffing any of it.

They're usually hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants like R-134a.

From the story "This past Sunday, an early morning Kmart crew in Jonesboro, Arkansas came to work, only to find a pair of unfamiliar feet sticking out of a back-room cubby hole."

What I want to know is, do they come in and find familiar feet sticking out of the cubby hole often??

And are the crew familiar with the feet of everyone who works there? Because that would just be weird.

Anyone else catch the Gawker comment by PennoyerVNeff on the Cops episode where two huffing brothers lived by a dumpster behind a Sherwin Williams?

I'd be curious to know if anyone knows which episode it was. Google's not helping me find it despite having used various keywords. Not schadenfreude, just seems like an interesting episode to watch and not your typical one at that.

I'd ride that like... um... a guy who'd enjoy intercourse with her.

Anyway, as great as that was, there is so much more in her oeuvre.

Was that the episode where the cop took his son to visit them? I think about that episode when I see people wasted out of their mind. The cop said he wanted his son to see what doing that shiat does to a person. They were basically vegetables, they could barely talk or move, It was disturbing. Saw it probably 10 years ago and it still bothers me.

You're not even supposed to use it in electronics anymore because the bitterant can leave residue behind that can potentially cause shorts. If you look at the cans most of them say for surface dust only. Luckily there's still a few brands out there that are bitterant free. Strangely, next time you need a can of gas you may want to try heading over to the sporting goods section for a can of Winchester Gun Duster.

I haven't seen that episode and considering Cops ran for 26 seasons, I highly doubt I ever will be able to find that particular episode. I looked at a list of seasons and episodes and the description is the city and state for each one.

Most people that commented said it was the most wasted they've seen anyone.  RabbinicalRebel (in the comment section of the Gawker article) said it best:

"Wasted away to flesh and bone and absolutely no brain matter left. It was horrifying! I mean, they were physically depleted to the point of being like two walking souvlakis - meat on a stick - just flesh (human) but able (barely) to walk."

Why yes, I did laugh at "two walking souvlakis".
