I wouldn't clash with Helen Clark, Kim. I hear she's got poisonous spurs on her forelegs.

Helen hasn't been Prime Minister is many years. I think she has some sort of UN gig now.

I guess subby just woke up from a 10 year coma.

Tons of places to buy media on the intertubes while maintaining laziness.

I haven't bought a CD or DVD in a decade yet have managed to vote in every election I'm able to vote in.  Fail is for subby thinking headline is even a little witty.  My, how low Fark standards have gotten are.

Nobody buys disks any more, we have this thing called iTunes and Netflix.

Your joke is about 10 years too late, subs.

You say that as if someone goes out to buy music. Subby, are you driving on the information super highway, too?

All the people who would vote for him are tech savvy and don't fall for Nigerian prince scams :P

I'm from New Zealand, and I'd possibly vote for him - only because all the other political parties aren't any better

What's this information superhighway you speak of?  I'm still crawling through these tubes.

I'm also from New Zealand and until the greens drop their anti-GMO and general anti-science policies, it looks like Kim'll get my votes.

Take a look at what's happening to Wikileaks' Australian Senate campaign, and you get an idea of how it might turn out.

/NZ has MMP, though
//And some of their minor parties are a bit strange already

You have to buy a CD or DVD to vote? How is that not a poll tax?

technoblogical: You have to buy a CD or DVD to vote? How is that not a poll tax?

Couple of things:

1)  Just because it is a law in the U.S. doesn't mean it is a law everywhere.
2) Nowhere in the article does it say anything about having to buy a CD to vote

On another note (and another reason I like NZ).  is that even without his legal troubles, NZ likely wouldn't let him immigrate because he clearly doesn't want to be at the gym in 26 minutes.

I still buy CDs. They're pretty cheap used, they're not compressed like mp3s and they're like their own optical backup system.

Kim Dotcom?  Is that some sort of mashup of Kim Komando and the body guard from 30 Rock?

And don't forget the cover art and liner notes!

Yeah, I still buy them, too. Not just for the liner notes, but a perk is a perk.

I spy a New Zealand First voter!

At least Dot Com is a proper criminal, not merely a venal corrupt currency trader like the current PM.
