Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran Syria.

I don't know why. Nobody likes John McCain.

Pancakes?

If Obama is sincere about trying to get Congressional support, this is one of his best paths to getting that.

On the other hand, if he's simply making an empty gesture to a political party that would sooner kill themselves than work with him, then this works, too.

2013-09-02 11:41:16 AM
Somehow it seems to me that neither John nor Barrack have any concern for the well being of Syria or the United States of America.  I wonder where their concerns are?

Fart_Machine: Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran Syria.

I submitted this with ^that^ as a headline.

Farking McCain. Anything to start another war.

I don't have enough middle fingers for Obama if he goes thru with this shiat.

If Congress does not approve this action, I expect a few false flags to arise in either Syria or the West. Obama will have his war, dammit!

Nemo's Brother: If Congress does not approve this action, I expect a few false flags to arise in either Syria or the West. Obama will have his war, dammit!

This ridiculous assertion that he demands "war" come hell or high water does not make any sense. It doesn't seem to be based in the reality we all share.

So if Congress tells him to, it's still his fault?

McCain wants to go in and kick ass, this won't end well for Obama.

Well, here's the problem with that: The GOP doesn't listen to McCain.

Anyone who says the words "false flag" as an actual accusation more than a couple of times a decade are not generally well-founded in reality.

Where have you been the past twenty years? That's the only part of gubmint spending they want to  increase. While our children have no education and their parents starve from below-minimum-wage jobs, we need to blow other people up. That's what Jeebus wanted.

You also forgot tax cuts. Which are (obviously) very costly. Those two things are what republican Jesus supports and are the only things to fix all problems.

FTA: McCain, the candidate Obama defeated for the presidency in 2008, said Obama asked him to come to the White House specifically to discuss Syria.
"It can't just be, in my view, pinprick cruise missiles," the Arizona Republican told CBS'"Face the Nation."

It's both. Give Congress a say, let America see how dysfunctional the House  is (the Senate, less so.)

Purty sure they spend more on wars then on tax cuts. Tax cuts are secondary. Those new planes that the military doesn't need? BUY THEM NOW.

Politically speaking, it was a good move.  Sadly, it also means that this CW attack is going to go unpunished and nothing good can come of that.

I disagree. I think Obama is going through with it with or without Congress. As he should.
