Anyone else think that dick hit her on purpose?  Probably didnt mean to hit her in the face but the whole thing smacks of the old beach douchebag game of run close to them and I'll chuck the ball into them.

Sideline reporters should be required to wear helmets. Although, it would look so stupid, they would probably just get rid of sideline reporters. So I repeat, sideline reporters should be required to wear helmets.

No way, the NFL has been hiding the dangers of sideline reporting. She should sue.

One thing I noticed when watching the old Super Bowls on dvd: you NEVER saw the sideline reporter dude unless he was interviewing a coach before or after the half.  OTOH, 90% of the time Pam or Suzy or Erin talk, they are shown on camera.  Coincidence? I think not.

Sideline babes are just a higher form of cheerleader. Let's just drop the fiction and put them in bikinis.

90% of the time? You think that's 90% of the time those broads are running their mouths? I bet it's more lie .001% of the time, and they've got 6 analysts up at ESPN HQ micing them 24/7, and every time a five second blurb of sanity spits forth they press a giant red button that's labeled "CUT TO ERIN!"

Oh FFS. Now every bump on the head is a concussion?
If that's the case I probably had a thousand concussions when I was a kid.

Honestly, I would have thought the first injury suffered by a sideline reporter would have been at the hands of Lane Kiffen.

"So, Lane, what do you think your team struggled with most in the first haAAUGH STOP CHOKING ME STOP STOP AAAIGH!"

"Errant pass"? Who in the hell was the intended "receiver" for that pass? That thing looked like it was thrown deliberately at her head. Given the attitude of players lately, yelling at NFL Films folks for daring to film them (even though they're contractually obligated to do so), I wouldn't put it past the QB to indicate that the pass was deliberately thrown to hit her.

That was a hell of an accurate throw. I'm impressed. If you don't want to get hit then don't be there.

Full gear, just like ESPN's pit correspondents, AND the helmet.

First of all. Ball is very hard.
Secondly why didn't guy standing next to her give a heads up or try making a play on the ball.

So now she'll be the go to reporter whenever concussions are discussed.  Another reason women shouldn't be football announcers.

The Buckeye/Bulls college game had a female announcer.  I think she sat on her balls a couple of times.  Her voice was deeper than most adult males.  #tryingtoohardhoney
