best accident ever.
wait was it wasn't fatal?
2004-01-14 12:31:18 AM

Maybe if he was injured in a bow and arrow accident...
2004-01-14 12:31:29 AM
Well if the Nuge had shot himself with a bow and arrow, I suppose it would be ironic. As it is, it's just kind of funny.

2004-01-14 12:34:13 AM
feh ... nugent sucks
2004-01-14 12:35:03 AM
The Nuge rocks.
2004-01-14 12:35:29 AM
fark you, ted nugent.

/he should be grateful for the little interest I can muster in myself about him to even think of the words "fark you" and the minute energy it took to write this.
2004-01-14 12:35:33 AM
Umm, what the fark? I freaking LIVE in Michigan, and I never heard of this reality show Tedly's got going on... I could sure use the money, and it'd be nice to see a local boy make good! :)
2004-01-14 12:36:04 AM
Publicity stunt. Four words about the accident, full page on his show.
2004-01-14 12:36:59 AM
"I got the chainsaw-scratch fever"
2004-01-14 12:37:58 AM
wasn't that Jackyl's schtick? Damn, he's sunk so low as to bit Jackyl's style?

Other than that, unless the chainsaw managed to cut completely through his neck, I don't care. Except for the mild amusement, of course.
2004-01-14 12:38:10 AM

Too bad it wasn't his head.
2004-01-14 12:39:21 AM
"I'm Rosa Parks, with a chainsaw!"

And a load of crap in his pants, to avoid the impending draft.
2004-01-14 12:39:57 AM
if u live in the bay area, be ready to hear about this on KSJO cause the morning host is in love with ted
2004-01-14 12:44:30 AM
I propose Ted stick to Air Chainsaw. It's safer. No, really. Safer. Not Wally. Safer. Just safer.

Did I mention....safer?
2004-01-14 12:45:56 AM
Did a big trucker throw a wrench at his head?
2004-01-14 12:47:10 AM
He is a great guitar player, but his singing sucks.

AS it is, I don't completely agree with Nugent, but he makes the best axioms ever.

Kill it 'n grill it. The man is onto something.

I laugh at you lib weenies who get worked up over this guy. Very entertaining.

But, as has been said - an OBVIOUS tag? Weak.
2004-01-14 12:48:25 AM
Lemme see here, he's passionately knowledgeable in what he believes in, has always been drug and drink free, is pro-gun, pro-American and has more self-confidence than an entire convention of PC-bred ubergeeks...

I fail to see the reason one would want him dead. I mean, are any of those TRULY good reasons to wish the worst of someone?

Enlighten me...

So I revved up this chainsaw and it was like
'beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep,'
and then my leg fell off....

2004-01-14 12:53:07 AM
Hell, by American standards I'm liberal, and even I think the Nuge rocks.
2004-01-14 12:53:58 AM
Hill bilies rejoice! Err, huh? Um, ok. Ok. Hillbillies respect chainsaws! Yesss!

/sarcastic as hell. City-slicker/suburbanite who mastered the chain saw at 15 years old. Dumb shiat.
2004-01-14 12:54:40 AM
Yes. I disagree with his politics, therefore I wish him bodily harm, and I will rejoice if said bodily harm is experienced by him. I will also make remarks that his chain saw injury is correlated to his intelligence level, which is influenced by his political beliefs. I will also make passive references to Rush Limbaugh being a drug addict and President Bush being stupid, even though I'm just a nerdy fark-dweller that wouldn't have the faintest clue how to run a country or even come up with a coherent rebuttal to a single Bush policy. I also would not have the courage to put myself on a chopping block every day for over twenty years on talk radio, where ratings actually have some sort of influence on who makes it and who doesn't.

/sarcastic troll

2004-01-14 12:55:57 AM
I love when he said, "Girl, sex is your business and you're a rich biatch."

2004-01-14 12:56:57 AM
You're all a bunch of assholes.

cebailey, you covered it well. Nicely done.
2004-01-14 12:57:16 AM

Lets start with his arrogance, lack of tolerance for anyone that thinks differently than him, he's racist and mysogonistic. Oh, and lets not forget the fact that he was bashing Ozzy not too long ago for 'selling out' with his reality show. Sour grapes maybe? I've had the 'pleasure' of meeting and talking with this guy. I was a fan before, now I can't stand the sound of his voice. He's a joke and an asshole.
2004-01-14 12:57:19 AM
cebailey, you farked up my whole night's posts by saying that. I guess I'm just gonna hafta go drink some shiatty canned american beer and shoot some wild game on my fenced in property. Oh the hell of the canned hunt!
2004-01-14 12:57:53 AM
Listen to "Stranglehold"

Guinness rules

I'm drunk
2004-01-14 12:58:29 AM
Now that I've read more... Hellvis, you rock man.
2004-01-14 01:00:18 AM
I've met Ted a couple of times. He is really a likable down to earth guy.
2004-01-14 01:00:35 AM
Ms Information, you are my goddess. This is one Voting should have been allowed.
2004-01-14 01:00:41 AM

I disagree... And I won't play the grammar nazi with your misspellings... But it really pisses me off when people use the phrase "sour grapes". (I need not say "incorrectly", since I have yet to see someone use it correctly here).
2004-01-14 01:08:58 AM
Nuget likes to make a big deal about how he loves him some hunting, right?

My dad's cousin lives in Alaska and leads hunting expeditions, he took The Nuge with him once. Said Teddy didn't have a clue...
2004-01-14 01:12:39 AM
Karmacidal -

Now THERE'S some great reasons to want someone dead. Curse those opinionated people out there!

If those were reasons that actually warranted death - you, my friend, would be deep into your very own dirt nap it seems...

Keep your hate in check, man - it ill-suits you.
2004-01-14 01:12:41 AM
Oh so sorry to step on your hero's toes. He's a MISOGYNISTIC bastard who had a bad case of SOUR GRAPES. I'm sure he's thrilled now he has a weekly forum for his idiotic rantings. And not to mention that he has you defending him on the FARK boards.
2004-01-14 01:15:33 AM
Hey if Anna Nicole and Paris Hilton can have a show, why not an old school hillbilly? If they can make some cash and not hurt anyone (but themselves, apparently) I say go for it.
2004-01-14 01:16:24 AM
I don't want him harmed because of his opinions, I want him harmed because he is another 70s-arena-rock-douchebag who personifies annoying cock rock. His bad lyrics, horrible guitar playing, and even worse song writing have wreaked havoc on my ears and inspired generations of insipid guitar playing and tight pants.

I hope he cut his right arm off. There, feel better?
2004-01-14 01:17:20 AM
Not the Nuge!~

oh the humanity....

(such a jackass)
2004-01-14 01:17:44 AM
I'm sorry, but I don't recall wishing anyone dead. Bodily harm, yes. It's nothing I haven't said to his face. And also to elaborate more on your previous post. I work in talk radio and have "the courage to put myself on a chopping block every day for over twenty years on talk radio, where ratings actually have some sort of influence on who makes it and who doesn't." Maybe not for 20 years, but no one gives a 14 year old serious air time. Not that I didn't try.
2004-01-14 01:18:13 AM
So, if the leg had come off would he have eaten it?

/kill it & grill it
2004-01-14 01:18:35 AM
If I were a cannibal, I might eat Ted. Kill 'em and grill 'em.
2004-01-14 01:27:12 AM
[image from too old to be available]

Aayyyy -- I didn't cut my leg, baby.

2004-01-14 01:28:56 AM
It's funny to see all of the conservatives on this thread rush to champion a confirmed pedophile. But, then again, you've previously thrown your lot in with felons (Liddy, North) and drug addicts (Rush), so I suppose I shouldn't be expecting integrity in your choice of talking heads.
2004-01-14 01:32:20 AM
"To provide a fresh spin and new challenges, the location has been shifted from the woods of Michigan to Nugent's sprawling, multi-acred compound located just outside of Waco, Texas."

Outside of Waco? How perfect is that?
