Lord, that's awful. Did that strike you as clever? Did you reject other one-liners and decide that one was the real zinger?

And I didn't and that joke was awful. Look, son, we can all appreciate a truly witty troll, but that's so far removed from even marginal humor that most sensible people would have died from shame shortly after posting that.

You're new to this country, right? Because the reason GHWB selected Quayle is because Quayle reminded him so much of his mentally-challenged son.

Fade2black: happydude45: Fade2black: happydude45: Seriously, none of you recall him having to drop out of the presidential race in shame years ago due to being caught plagiarizing from another politician's speech? Or when he said you had to have an Indian accent to go to a 7-11? Or telling the crippled Senator in a wheelchair to stand up? I know there are a ton more, those are just what I remember offhand.

Not sure if you're serious or not...but that "telling the crippled Senator to stand up" was your boy Biden.  If you're going to slam a politician, at least make sure you have the right one, Mr. Derpy.

Dude, all of those things referenced Biden.

So I see.

It's kind of embarrassing that everyone on your "team" are so angry that they don't even know when someone's agreeing with them, isn't it?

True. In comparison Dan Quayle is damn near a genius.

I am convinced that the entire Bush presidency and the 2008 election cycle were a nefarious plot by the Republican Party to make Nixon look reasonable.  Seriously.  In comparison to the entire 8 years, and especially the GOP primary slate of 2008, Nixon looks reasonable, Ronald Regan looks fiscally responsible, Dan Quayle looks like a farking genius...  You couldn't have cleaned up that legacy better.

The best Dan Quayle spoof was from SNL.  They had I think Michael J Fox playing him during the president's state of the union speech.  And it was a simple sketch; just Dan Quayle not knowing when to stand up and clap.  He just couldn't get it right.

I still love that sketch.
