skinnycatullus: Psh... I'm luckier than all those motherfarkers. I wasn't anywhere near a landslide in the first place.

Yeah, but you don't entertain and amaze people nearly as much with that story about getting lost in a bad neighborhood in Omaha.

MrHappyRotter: and wrong thread

This is still kinda a poop thread. The front seats of that white car are definitely a biohazard.

Strangely, it fits.

Go Fornicate Without a Partner: That was totally a woman driver.  See how they just sat there and put their hazards on instead of driving forward a few feet or running on foot?  Totally a clueless woman.

This comment was totally made by a male moran. See how he just sat there and bloviated without scrolling down just a few pixels to see that the front of the car was crushed or making a less stupid comment? Totally a clueless man. Totally.

Anyone who would claim they wouldn't have shiat their pants in that is a bloody bad lair.

Yeah, asshole, the front of his car was crushed. As in no-move anymore. If you had a newer car, you'd know that emergency braking would automatically engage the hazards.

The guy has an aol account. Probably doesn't know his arse from a hole in the ground.

Blood Bad Lair...makes me think of a vagina during a period.

evilsofa: Any estimates on the weight of that boulder?  Moving it off the road is going to be a chore.

Heavy enough to make that car as flat as Wile E. Coyote has been before, which is all that really matters.

It's nothing that a well-chosen use of dynamite can't make easier.

No one else has pointed the time out? According to the camera timer the slide happened at exactly 4:20... What does it MEAN?!?

You can see the boulder give way at 3 seconds. Look at the mountaintop in the far distance.

TinyFist: mongbiohazard: First thhing I would have done - after shiatting my pants - would be to get out of my car and flip that boulder the bird with both hands.

That's exactly what Wyle E. Coyote would've done. Right before the boulder completed that final quarter turn, pinning him under.

Do you carry a stash of little placards with "HELP" written on them in your pockets by chance?

lol
It's actually a little gun that pops a flag out that has "Help" on it when I pull the trigger. I figured it was more American to have it in gun form.

Lucky is the car in front that had nothing at all happen to it.

I'm not sure getting your car smashed is lucky.

Okay, just to geek out a little further:  From the point where you see the mountain crumble to the point where the rock makes its furthest progress (when it stops rolling forward) is 25 seconds.  Given the altitude change (about 260 feet) and distance (a shade over 450), it comes out to about 516 feet in 25 seconds.  A little more math, and you get that the rock was traveling about 14 miles an hour.  Not very fast, but still, when a rock that looks like it's about the size of a small summer cottage comes feet from hitting you, it's gonna suck.

SpdrJay: I enhanced the YouTube video and it clearly shows a UFO lasering off that chunk of rock, causing the entire event....

My current software only allows be to enhance 5 times. You must have software with pixel handling
