Dude, I think you may be treading into danger here.  Alabama football is an unforgiving religion.

I found this a few days ago. My plan was to post it in the Saturday CFB thread for others to mock. Thanks for stealing my thunder, subs.

In all seriousness, given the complexity of schemes in modern-day football, Saban is teaching advanced calculus compared to the basic arithmetic of Bryant's era. And, the recruiting environment is much more cynical and cutthroat nowadays.

More like Cain, stricken from the Garden of Eden (the NFL) forced to roam the nether regions of Earth (Tuscaloosa) for the rest of his life.

I have to admit my urge to draw Forest Gump drooling in the background is pretty high.

"I would like to think people would take it for the humor that it is. I'd like to think God does have a great sense of humor."

:looks at recent state of Notre Dame football* and walks away laughing

*I know what they did last year; shut up.
*insert your least favorite conference here instead

more like Allah Bomba! *snerk*

also, not even the "most" anything claimed in the headline.  mediocre chalk sketch with non-offensive subject matter to me.  as a UK alum I just cant care about Bryant anymore.  the Rupp/Bryant fiasco isn't worth the nostalgia.

Nope. The most disgusting (and funniest) chalk drawing I ever saw was in the break-room of the newspaper I used to work at. One of the guys I used to work with had undergone heart surgery and had a pig-valve installed. About two years later, he was in our break-room, and had a heart attack (he recovered).

The next day, there was Police-tape around the spot where he dropped to the concrete floor, and a chalk outline of a pig. Pressmen are cruel monsters. I know. I am one.

Thats like arguing modern math with Kepler, sure it has advanced but the person who invented it deserves more credit.

Is this tongue in cheek? A mockery of Alabama's two favorite things, God and Tide football? If so.. hilarious.

If this is serious.. farkin' hell, it's hard to live here sometimes.

That's so awesome. I definitely will have to check out Druid City the next time I'm heading home for a visit.

Need to figure out where to watch the game tomorrow... hrm!
