Not Dallas, it is rather brown.  The surrounding burbs (Plano, Southlake, Frisco, etc): yes.  Because of this, Dallas is solidly in the D column, few years back there was a straight D run on all of the judicial elections.

Yeah, I should have mentioned it's mostly the suburbs all up on arms about this. Dallas proper isn't exactly "Christian" by all means, at least that's what I saw when I was there. Since the Hispanic population has been booming, Catholicism is now, I think, most popular, but don't quote me on that since I don't have any stats to back me up.
