So this lovely family kills, lies and is unfaithful.
George really knows how to get himself into situations.

I love the sensationalist wording in the URL of TFA...

Zimmerman did something terrible, but "acquitted murderer" has to be the most idiotic term ever.

if she has any brains whatsoever, she will hold out until Zimmerman's lawsuit against the media has been settled, and maybe even longer.  There is every chance in the world that Zimm is going to end up a fairly rich man.

Probably why the article never actually uses the term.

I would much prefer if we could call him something like "Inmate #10183921" but what is, is.

If he hands her a bag of skittles, she should run...

/aisle seat please...

In the interview, she also revealed that she wasn't at their home the night of the teen's controversial shooting because she'd had a fight with her husband.
"I was staying at my father's house," she said. "We had gotten into an argument the night before and I left."

So, he was angry about his life the night he killed Trayvon, huh? Interesting.

George shot early and it's hurting the marriage.

Hey, when the court doesn't listen to the gut, you've got to get the truth out somehow.

2013-08-29 10:48:51 AM
Hmm. I hadn't heard his wife had left him the night before the shooting after a big argument. Trayvon picked a bad day to walk.

2013-08-29 10:49:02 AM
She still can't believe he didn't bring home the Skittles.  He just left them there.  It's like he doesn't even know her.

"She was scared," her attorney, Kelly Sims Saul Goodman, said after Wednesday's hearing. "Her husband was locked up. She didn't know what was going on. So, she stood by her man, like Tammy Wynette says."

It's not shocking. The media hounding and the stress adds up. It's a shame that George won't ever be left alone.

True, but I'm not sure it would be all that difficult to show intent to defame.

I'm assuming she's not feeling George's decision to stay in hiding while she was forced to go out in public...for commiting a crime to protect HIS ass. I guess Zimmerman only acts tough when he's confronted by unarmed 17 year olds. Naw, scatch that. He got his ass whipped by the kid, too.

Hmmm.  Wonder what this will due on theories of the shooting.  Fight with the life, he's angry still, driving around his neighborhood with a gun.

Side note:
So his lawyers are trying to recover 200k from the state of Florida for legal fees for the trial, claiming that's how much it cost for the defense.  Yet Zimmerman has taken in what, 650k in donations to pay for his legal defense?

Where's the money gone, then?

But then she's gotta move FAST with the divorce, money doesn't seem to stay in Zimm's pockets for very long.

Martin, however, was the epitome of emotional stability, having been expelled by his mother from his (broken) home for having been suspended from school on suspicion of having committed various crimes.

Interesting.

By the way, they found the owner of the twelve pieces of women's jewelry that were found in Trayvon Martin's backpack.  You know -- the ones he admitted he did not own, and refused to explain why he had them?  The owner lived a block or two from his school.

Interesting.

I agree, LemSkroob. If Treyvon, would have stayed in Miami, where he belonged, non of this would have happened. He cost people money, lives and jobs. Just imagine the havoc he would still be reaping if he was still alive.

You're not a good person.

Also (what I came here for) Florida's "stand your ground" law was never mentioned in this case and wasn't a factor in the case whatsoever.

Here's a dollar I want you to go down to the store and buy yourself a clue. Your post shows you have no idea what happened that night. It was made very clear by witnesses and experts that Zimmerman was waiting on the cops when the thug jumped him. Please read the trail transcripts before commenting again.

No, the head-to-concrete ground-and-pound is the reason he deserved to die.

To be more accurate, the lack of sufficient evidence to refute Zimmerman's claim of receiving a head-to-concrete ground-and-pound is the reason Zimmerman didn't deserve to be convicted.

But as long as we're reading the tea leaves about their respective mental states based on what was going on in their lives at the time ...

Oh. So, now we know he didn't have anything to do with any burgularies since his school was near his mom's house. That makes Zimmerman's actions even more unjustifiable. Also, I'd like to see the hands of every Farker who has been suspended from school so that we can get the police from Minority Report on the case. They're all apparently ready to kill for no reason.

TL;DR I don't have time for thinking

If Trayvon had decent parents that handed out a little discipline, their son wouldn't have been out roaming the streets while serving one of his multiple suspensions from school.
