Kahabut: cefm: It's really not hard to do it correctly if you're serious about it.  Anyone who survives suicide didn't really want to succeed.

This.

Suicide "attempt" is just a call for help.

This is what stupid people sound like.

I thought about this. if your going to use a power drill, 18-24 volts. use a 3/4" paddle bit, or even better yet, the bit with the saw attached you use to drill door knob holes. and for pete's sake don't dial down the torque setting. you don't want that bad boy boggin' down half way through, believe you me!

I take it you have never seen what happens to those who attempt suicide using a gun to the head and still fail to die?  If you weren't truly suicidal before you probably will be when half your face/head is missing. There might be some people who don't make truly serious attempts, people whose efforts are really only done to get the attention and care they feel they need, but in no way can you say that about every suicide attempt that fails, and be right. It can actually be surprisingly difficult to successfully kill yourself.
