I can't tell if I'm supposed to be outraged or not.

I KNOW!

I'll wait until I see where the tide comes in and let the chips fall where they may.

You should be outraged.

Always.

The suspicion, and there must be pressure, is that link submissions from farkers that echo paid links from Buzzfeed are suppressed so as not to take clicks away from the paid link. Anyone check the paid links to see if they had submissions and whether they went green?

Why not just link to them in the normal way and allow comments? They'd still get their click and I often follow a link and then browse the site to see what else they have? Why go down this route of having a link with no discussion allowed? Are they afraid they will be criticised?

It's just a green.

Screw Buzzfeed, they're spamming scum.  They were  astroturfing the submission queue over on LiveLeak and really pissed a lot of people off.

I'm never outraged, but enough about me.

Some say paid links are bad, but I have an opposing view.

I stay logged into TF, so I never see the sponsored links unless I venture into Fark. As far as how Drew makes his money, I don't care. But links you can't comment on seem a little un-Fark like.

Are these the blank spaces that TFers see in their main page view, that's what I've heard?

Don't click on the links if you don't want to. It's simple.

Doesn't seem to bother the Daily Mail, and they're doing all right. Unfortunately....

Wait. You mean my $5/month isn't enough to keep Drew drowning in alcohol for the rest of his natural life?
