In all seriousness... is this threat of Sharia Law somehow being implemented as law somewhere or anywhere in America an actual documented incident? I mean did any actual American citizens who were imams actually go to a city council meeting or convince a state or federal court to hear a case to implement Sharia Law as legal in America?

I keep hearing this talked about, like this is an actual tangible incident (or string of incidents) of imams actually pushing for Sharia Law to be implemented in America... and it actually somehow manages to pass?

Or this another one of these cases of if it happened in a FW:FW:FW:FW:FW:FW e-mail then it must be true?

I'm patiently waiting for the religious right in the U.S. to acknowledge publicly that religious laws are secondary to the Constitution.

I'm also curious how a strongly financed military of jets, tanks and battleships is of any help dealing with domestic terrorism.

Also, on the Boston firemen dick-sucking page, it says "thanks to the brave emergency responders  and American citizensfor the quick action..." You know, I'm pretty sure at least one non-American citizen helped out in that situation, and a Chinese grad student was one of the people killed. I guess only American victims count. On the same page it also has the subtle Obama bashing "When national leaders fail.."

As a parody, this whole thing is well done and amusing. As an actual serious attempt as a teaching tool it is disgusting.

The fact that nobody is actually trying to implement Sharia Law only proves that "those people" are actually trying to implement Sharia Law. Somebody needs to step up in one of those States that has banned it and start challenging blue laws that are also included in Sharia.

"The Quran outlaws the selling of alcohol and prostitution. Since we've banned Sharia law that means booze and hookers for everybody!"

Substitute? In some circles it's preferred.

So you didn't get to the third coloring page? Protip: Usually you RTFA before you play the "straw man" card. That way you don't look stupid. Maybe next time.

So when are they going to publish a coloring book featuring anti-abortion terrorists who bomb clinics and murder doctors in the name of life?

It seems those working hardest against the implementation of what is called Sharia Law happen to be the same individuals working hardest to implement what is actually Sharia Law.

Revocation of separation of Church and State.
Restrictions on speech, especially blasphemy.
Criminalization of homosexuality, pornography, prostitution...
Music and other forms of art.

While explicitly allowing
Violence against women.
Rape.
Even slavery.

Its not Sharia Law when white christians do it? Well, ok, i guess its not, but the end result is the same.

/not if you call it stench blossoms or crapweeds...

It's one of those things that everyone's worried about MIGHT HAPPEN IF WE WERE TAKEN OVER BY EVILLE SKARY MOOSLIMBS OH MY GOD WE HAVE TO STOP THIS BEFORE IT HAPPENS!!! In reality, it has been brought before a real city council  or state court even less often than a group of rabbis have requested a case be tried under rabbinical law instead of American law; or that a bunch of Sikhs have demanded that Vedic law be written into a city charter.

And realistically speaking, I'd bet that 99.8% of those who are so scared about Shari'a law being implemented couldn't even tell you what, if anything, is so bad about it, except the thing about the beheadings and stonings and women having to be covered. And they even get that wrong.

If this wasn't being marketed to children I'd actually find it kind of funny in a gallows humor kind of way. The tire tread over the portrait of the one bomber is what sells it for me.
