Yes, it's called: "Don't It Make My Brown Eye Blue."

That exists? Wow.

Wait...is this...for real?

No.  It can't be.  No one would do something this tasteless and stupid...without somehow being connected to a church.

cman: Somacandra: KidneyStone: How many people did he injure in Boston, straw man?

So you didn't get to the third coloring page? Protip: Usually you RTFA before you play the "straw man" card. That way you don't look stupid. Maybe next time.

I SWEAR TO GOD I will pistol whip the next person who says "Straw man"!

Hey Farva! What's another term for "scarecrow"?

"A well equipped, strongly financed military is mandatory in the 'War on Terror'."

1) The quotes around "War on Terror" seem appropriate in a way they probably didn't intend.

2) "Strongly financed"; but "don't tax you, don't tax me, tax that fellow behind the tree." (Russell B. Long)

Jaws_Victim: farking disgusting. Another example of how patriotism is an acceptable substitute for intelligence in today's America.

"In Dr. Johnson's famous dictionary, patriotism is defined as the last resort of a scoundrel. With all due respect to an enlightened but inferior lexicographer, I beg to submit that it is the first." -- Ambrose Bierce

Substitute? In some circles it's preferred.

I believe this is the same company that published a 9/11 version a few years back--and of course the same anti-American sentiments were rife throughout the FARK thread universe.

I bought a few copies and gave them to my kids.  They thought they were great and laughed at the "smart people" who thought it was a bad idea.

I love how my kids are turning out, and yes, I also taught them the trouble-makers from any group are the minority.  Most Arabs just want to do their own thing and be left alone by their crazies.

FTFY.

Kids generally don`t see the subtle difference. They tend to see that if the only people who do bad things in a book are muslims then only muslims do bad things, even if not all muslims do bad things. I take it you showed them the book about the roman catholic republican american who blew up the CIA building and the US army guy who shot kennedy?

You know, just to balance stuff out and not have them think muslims are the only group with a crazy minority...

Ever noticed that America is the only country in the world that has `anti` as a prefix regularly applied?

Ever wondered why? Do you think kevin the school bully wonders why all the other kids don`t like him?

"All the other kids are just jealous, they are anti-kevin"

See how ridiculous it sounds? It is obvious to everybody except kevin that it is the actions kevin does that are the reason people do not like him but to kevin? They are anti-kevin. He is suffering from antikevinism. They don`t like the way he brings law and order to the playground by handing out wedgies etc. They are the axis of evil/antikevin.

"You! What`s in your pockets? I reckon you have a catapult. I`m the only one allowed a catapult in this playground"
"I don`t have a catapult"
"I don`t believe you, hey you, check his pockets"
"Can`t find anything, just lunch money"
"Well you just didn`t look hard enough, I`m gonna hang him upside down by his pants from this tree until he confesses. If he does not confess quick enough I will just beat him up and take his lunch money to stop him buying a catapult. I`m just keeping you all safe. You are unpatriotic if you disagree! (I`m actually just stealing his lunch money but I wouldn`t get away with that so I have to do it this way)"

Wow--talk about a racist rant.

Of course I taught them about Timothy McVeigh, Oswald, and the rest of the weirdos who don't work within the law to change things.  They know full well abortion clinic bombers are going to Hell, if there is one, for hurting people with differing opinions.

And of course I taught them about fringe Catholics doing weird things, including the human frailties/poor decision making throughout the history of Catholicism being in opposition to the actual teachings of Christ.  They know bombing in the name God, Christian and Muslim alike, is a lame contortion of scripture.  Rather than just dismissing the Crusades out of hand like most people, they know the political structures, power base struggles, and cultural era that begat them in the first place.

But you go on and think everyone who who has the balls to teach reality, versus couched allusions, are across the boards haters of everything brown.  My Korean child is glad to know I hate him and his ancestral complaining about the Japanese occupation was all made up.

Go be a dick somewhere else and learn some history before you assume teaching reality to children is too scary or complex.

You guys know that Wayne Bell's coloring book company is quite excellent at trolltastic current affairs publishing, right? These guys are masterclass-level shiat disturbers to drive controversy.

This same company did an "Occupy Wall Street" comic book, a "Tea Party Patriots" comic book, a "Yes We Did: President Obama" coloring book (that they had out November 8, 2008, btw), a "Being Gay is OK" comic book, and a "We Shall Never Forget 9/11" coloring book. Operating on the principle that "there's no such thing as bad publicity" these guys are up for doing pro-whatever issue you care to name coloring books, dumbed down for the little kiddies, that frequently get people's panties in a wad over "brainwashing" and "indoctrination". Meanwhile, Wayne Bell is laughing all the way to the bank.
