Not important. They always oppose anything the US is for.

2013-08-28 04:17:45 PM
Don't let the door,,,
Aww hell yes, hope the door crushes you.

/maybe lock the doors like they did to GW Shrub

It's all theatre, chitty theatre at that, and it's bad for you.

/tip to Carlin

Do they not remember what happened in Korea?

2013-08-28 04:24:46 PM
They probably went to the bathroom.

2013-08-28 04:24:56 PM
Is this their way of abstaining?

2013-08-28 04:26:09 PM
Does this mean they won't or can't veto?

2013-08-28 04:26:13 PM

Fluid: They probably went to the bathroom.

Together?  Oh man, rumors are gonna start!

2013-08-28 04:26:30 PM
But did they VETO anything?

2013-08-28 04:26:47 PM
Probably because Russia and China are busy selling arms to either/both sides in the conflict, and don't want to interrupt the money flow.

2013-08-28 04:26:56 PM
So does that mean they can't veto any Security Council resolutions?

2013-08-28 04:27:02 PM
This website?  Really?  Admins, could you please look for an actual news source and change the link?  Or kill this off if you can't find one?  Giving this site clicks gives baby kittens cancer.

2013-08-28 04:27:10 PM
Quick pass a bunch of resolutions before they get back

2013-08-28 04:28:09 PM
Americans don't want it, the UN doesn't want it, so why does the administration have such a raging hard on for this?

2013-08-28 04:28:14 PM
That site is pure comedy gold and/or absolute crap.

2013-08-28 04:28:23 PM
Well, bye...

2013-08-28 04:28:47 PM
You can't veto what you are not there to hear.

2013-08-28 04:30:30 PM
What? You expected anything different? Russia and China are on Assad's side of the civil war because of a big old oil pipeline running through the middle of it. That and wars are good business when you sell arms.

2013-08-28 04:31:19 PM

Fluid: They probably went to the bathroom.

This is the reason.

I hear they both had gas.

FrancoFile: Do they not remember what happened in Korea?

God help them if we have another Chesty Puller because there won't be any help for them down here

2013-08-28 04:31:42 PM
Good.  So that means we don't have to do anything in Syria then?

I mean we tried and really, that's what's important.

2013-08-28 04:31:49 PM

lockers: Americans don't want it, the UN doesn't want it, so why does the administration have such a raging hard on for this?

Red Line. Obama said it and now he's stuck with the ramifications.

Propaganda. All they want is peace, peace!

Haven't we always been at war with Eastasia?

Guess I'll go to the Chestnut Tree and read the paper.

2013-08-28 04:32:59 PM
Didn't realize there was more to the article till I went back and scrolled down is this guy really citing Jerome Corsi?

Hope and change, and a new transparency in the government.

At least that's what we were sold.

2013-08-28 04:33:22 PM
Just remember, UN Resolution #1 still hasn't been nailed.

2013-08-28 04:34:43 PM
Forgive the ignorance, but since Syria is their paisan, shouldn't China and Russia be the ones to straighten them out?  They would have more clout to get them to sit down and shut up as opposed to the US, right?

Investmentwatchblog.com, seems legit.

What I am hearing is that they don't want any shenanigans going on that may relieve them of their puppet fiefdoms and free oil.

2013-08-28 04:39:23 PM
What's so scary about that?

The corporate overlords want the $$$ involved with "political unrest".
Not implying that the political system is tilted towards what Halliburton et al. wants, or anything like that.

Exactly. It's their mess let them deal with it. Nothing good will come of our getting involved even in a best case scenario while a lot of really bad stuff can happen instead if some reports are correct and certain countries decide to carry it beyond Syrian borders.

Russia and China sitting in a tree, shouting out for everyone to state their war proxy.

/When the aliens come, the people of the Middle East(but not Israel) will be spared from being turned into food or slave labor.

Really? #Russia and #China? Can this twitter stuff stop already?

/oldbie... I want my internet back :(

Farking middle east. I wish we would stay out of it and let them just throw sand at each other.

Fark em all

The sand hurts after a nuke melts it. And it gets in the hummus.

I'm no expert, but shouldn't they really just wait until they find out which side actually used the weapons?
I mean both sides in the syria conflict have less than stellar elements in them.

2013-08-28 04:44:23 PM

extroverted_suicide: What if we just did... nothing?

Then we send a signal to the world that the use of chemical weapons will not be met with force.

2013-08-28 04:44:39 PM
Doesn't seem "scary" tag to me.  Russia and China seemed to have given us the excuse to not get involved.

Scary seems more appropriate if we get involved over there.  That and "stupid". Like "scary stupid".

If only we could return it and get our money back.

So do you get the idea that their leaving, rather than sticking it out and using their veto power, is tacit agreement that something has to be done?
