Carlos Danger strikes again!

At what point does he just slink off of the stage?

That, ladies and gentlemen, is what you call "astroturf".

2013-08-28 05:17:16 PM
Who cares, what did he think about Miley Cyrus?

Enough about Anthony and if he paid for our events.

You should ask him to take a cellphone picture of his reaction and text it to you.

He hired a company called "Crowds on Demand", I wonder how many politicians actually use this service?

Well, if you're a good politician, you don't NEED to.

Seriously, how big must this guy's ego be?  Any rational person would have thrown in the towel weeks ago.  He's a joke.

Everything about this story is awesome. unpaid interns acting in campaign commercials. The spokesperson saying they would NEVER do anything questionable. Using limp to describe the Weiner campaign.

Next up. Weiner campaign doesn't pay the bill and Crowds on Demand releases the "pay us" letter.

Sister company of "Fark Shills on Demand"?

Time to find a job Mr. Weiner.

I thought he was getting a divorce. This is way more amusing.

Generally, you get your party to scare up the bodies for you.  For the Dems, that means the unions and local party folks, most of whom want to be "important" in their little corner of the Party.

Weiner is a joke.  No party, no supporters, and reporters who are salivating and stalking every goddamn thing he or anyone on his campaign does, in the hopes of piling on the embarrassment.  I have no idea why he's still doing this.

It's his wife.  She's Hillary 2.0.

Not any more, she's not.  Her husband - whether or not she were to ever divorce him - will be too closely associated with her, and she would be BURIED in the primaries.  I'll be gobsmacked if she has any kind of public role in the Clinton campaign.

There's pathetic and then there's being a national punchline having to buy friends. We need a new word to describe just how far down the political food chain this is.

Free meals? He must have donor cash that can only be used on the campaign. He keeps going to siphon off the funds.

Really?!? The one event where everyone was holding the same sign, and he was walking around with a huge flag and waving to all the cameras like he just won the goddamn 101st Honeyc*nt Beauty Pageant? You're telling me that was staged?!?

The point at which he's no longer a front-runner for the NYC mayor's job.

What he needs to do is find a nice quiet firm that handles corporate law, M&A type stuff, and disappear from public view for at least a decade.

She won't have a public role.  She's a facilitator and a conduit for foreign money.

You forgot the best part: that the campaign went to these guys because they wanted paid shills to confront hecklers.

Oh to be a fly on the wall of Weiner's campaign HQ.

That's presuming that Hillary is going to run.  And the only people who seem certain of that are the far right wing, and whenever they're dead certain of anything, I start laying my money on the other side.

Remember at about this same point leading up to the '08 election, when it was gonna be Giuliani vs Clinton?

He's so bad at this you have to wonder if he's not being paid off to be so ridiculous.

"We've never heard of this company and certainly never used them," said spokeswoman Barbara Morgan. "We are proud we've always had the biggest and most fired-up crowds. That's enthusiasm the other campaigns just can't buy."

Soon after that statement, the campaign released a new commercial using interns to pose as regular New Yorkers who support the long-shot candidate.

This campaign has no shame.

Look Anthony you may be Jewish but you are no King David. Goliath is NOT going to fall again.

His ego must be titanic to not have thrown in the towel. A guy that pathological should not ever be elected to any office.
