so much for that eh....

Why were the cops looking up videos on how to grow pot?

this was confusing when I lived there - every state that borders NH has personal use (1 oz or less) as a relatively low fine only, but NH even under an ounce you can get a year in jail and a hefty fine ($2,000).  For a state that pretty much bragged about being the place to drive to for lower cost booze it sure puts the cockblock on herb.

Only a year?  That doesn't sound too bad.  Seriously, having a little pot isn't the crime of the century anymore....I'm actually starting to count the weeks before I can buy it in a store.  okay, it's 4 more months which is like 120 weeks or something.

I dunno.  Someone pass the bong.

What do you care if some stoners are overly enthusiastic about their hobby? Stop being such a dick and be happy that someone found something good in this world to be excited about. And if their enthusiasm annoys you that much, you're more than welcome to walk away and ignore them.

Why don't you other states vote to make pot legal? It's not difficult. Ballot initiative, record turnout, plenty of righties and non liberals will vote for it.

Washington State and Colorado voted and it wasn't even close - plenty of red counties had sizable minority going for it, along with the massive support in the towns...

Or, you can keep letting these dipshiat cops have their way. I guess that's what you want in life, bowing down to cops and the DEA.

NH cops are lying scumbags who love to pull people over with out of state plates and claim that you were speeding. This is a regular activity for these shiat pieces.

the argument may not work, but I wold just have to say it so it's public record:

"Your honor, I must plead not guilty to manufacturing a controlled substance as I am not God, and therefore, did not manufacture the naturally occurring and growing plant matter in question."

yeah I know... I would still go to a PMITA prison, but I would feel better about showing them how stupid their argument is anyway.

If I ever get busted for it I'm going to jail for a very long time. Because I'm going to tell everyone involved exactly how I feel about the situation. Loudly.

I passed a NH cop car hidden in woods, not even on a road, going about 87. I figured I was caught anyway, I was going to compliment him on his great hiding spot. I guess 87 wasn't a big enough fish, or he was sleeping.

In any case, on RT 89, I regularly get passed at that speed, so I can't imagine the cops really need to manufacture speeding claims.

The friends of mine that live up there always warn us "red plates" about the fact that they do this. It's happened to me personally on multiple occasions. The last time was in June as I pulled out of a Dunkin Donuts. When I pointed out that I had just pulled out of a parking lot, and don't even know how that could be possible he said I must have been accellerating at a high rate of speed. Fark: I drive a Sentra 1.8 liter. Might as well be a lawn mower.

I, for one, am glad such a painfully stupid person has been busted. I don't care about the weed, but the fact that he's doing this illegal thing and posting it on YouTube makes him a real danger to society simply because he's a fool, and fools do foolish and dangerous things that endanger other people.

For the stoners here:
Weed? Whatever.
Posting videos of your illegal activity? Too dumb to be trusted around other people.

Yeah. Being a smartass in court is the BEST way to defend yourself. While you're at it, you should throw in a few personal insults for the judge's wife and mother, just to be sure.

And for the record, the plant wasn't "naturally occurring" in your living room or grow house. You put it there. You watered it. You gave it light using indoor lamps. You probably planted it, too. Therefore, there was nothing "naturally occurring" about the plants, and just like we consider that a corn farmer or a sugar beet farmer is manufacturing his product, you were manufacturing weed.

If some bird drops some seeds in a plot on your property and marijuana grows there without you doing anything, then you can pull your oh-so-clever "naturally occurring" gag. They probably won't believe you, but at least then it would be the truth.

But if you grew it indoors, then you most certainly "manufactured" it, in the same way that beef, vegetables, and fish are considered "manufactured" when we farm them.

Here, this may help:

man·u·fac·ture
1 : something made from raw materials by hand or by machinery
2a  : the process of making wares by hand or by machinery especially when carried on systematically with division of laborb  : a productive industry using mechanical power and machinery3the act or process of producing something

Being an incorrectly literal jackass will only get you a few more months as Bubba's girlfriend, so save yourself the trouble and just plead guilty, and apologize to the court.

Just from a look at any Fark stoner thread, you can see the potheads are a lot more insistent that EVERYONE does it. They need to believe that. And it's downright hilarious watching them jump through all their technicality hoops, popping philosophical gems out as if they're profound truths that only an enlightened, stoned person could see... As if the non-high folks didn't catch their allegedly clever wordplay or deep insight into the reality of the situation, and when presented with their argument will say "OH MY GOD! WHY DIDN'T  WE THINK OF THAT?! WHAT AN AMAZING, FRESH PERSPECTIVE! MAYBE WEED ISN'T SO BAD AFTER ALL!"

And of course, the real humor comes from things like when they think that the rest of us don't realize that they want to legalize hemp NOT because they have a deep love for rope and itchy clothes, but because they want to get high. You can stop giggling pothead... Your clever ruse isn't working.

I personally don't care if you get high. I don't care if weed is legal or illegal. I just really hate being around people who consider weed the cornerstone of their existence, and to me, the smell of weed is on par with burning cow shiat. Why anyone would want to spend their life being a loopy, slow-witted, cow-shiat-smelling dork who draws pot leaves on everything is beyond me... But it's their life. If that's how they want to spend it, then I say let them.

But how about we make a deal?  We'll make pot legal if stoners agree that they legally have to shut up about it once and for all.

1: Create fake marijuana growing video(green screen and fake fake fake plants with no closeups).
2: Post to youtube.
3: Get busted for an empty house that will still get you charged with growing something that never existed(perp must of sent it out already with zero residue, other than this suddenly appearing garbage bag of marijuana).
4: Publish the hours of video/sound of the cops busting your place and their embarrassment(live stream optional, but upload automatically to protected servers and have that server upload to a protected server and have that server upload to to a protected server).
5: Profit from the laughter. And of course the many tens of thousands of dollars from the departments payout to you from their incompetence.

So you support DADT, I'm guessing. How about we just don't make things ILLEGAL unless we can demonstrate an actual factual logical reason to do so, and not make it specifically about anything?

Please define "stoner"; your posts make have no logical argument, in my opinion, if we're not using the same definitions.  My version of "stoner" is a 14-21 year old child living with one's parents, doing nothing but smoking weed all day, every day.  22+ doing that, you're just a run of the mill loser.

Also, alcohol's legal but we constantly talk about that here even in threads not about alcohol.  Same with boobs and several other topics. Should you apply your deal to that as well or are you simply a run of the mill hypocrite?  You don't talk about anything at all you're passionate about?

Weed is legal for me where I live and I will make a comment or two on appropriate threads dealing with weed.  Seems as though you're bothered by reading about people smoking weed in a weed-related thread.  I'm not sure what to think about you in that regard.  Kinda like the person who shows up and randomly posts, "This is stupid and I would never waste my time reading this!" on various threads.

I guess I'm not sure what your real gripe is here other than "Someone mentioned weed!  I must attack them!"
