I know, right? The nightmare of being a super-rich WASP and having to constantly be reminded of all the prejudice your people have endured for generations - particularly the centuries-old "chimp libel".

Garet Garrett: Why would the WH put itself out there when they can get the same results having its useful idiots get their hands dirty?

I feel so dirty doing this, but...

ol_rooter: That there, hon, is a statement from the White House. Who's running the White House? The President. Who's the President, sweetie?

ol_rooter: White House spokesman Josh Earnest says he had no reaction from Obama.

That right there, Sugartits, is the official White House Statement.  You even quoted it, yourself.

I can tell you as a native Missourian, it was certainly not one of the finer moments for our state, and not the way I like to see our state depicted in the news.

And that right there, Snookie-wookums, is one man giving his personal opinion, even being so kind as to refer to himself in the First Person, twice, (and in the Second Person twice) in case it wasn't clear for whom he was speaking.  "Our state".  Where's Obama from again, Honeybunch?*

And let's remember Stealth's original claim, that it was the White House that "made it a big deal".

How could the question have even been asked, if it was this statement that started the "big deal"?

Steath's a lying liar, that's a given.

You don't have to choose to enable that.

/*Trick question.  Everybody knows it's "Kenya".

Remember when merely saying that you were disappointed in the POTUS got you death threats?

That's exactly right. They shouldn't have said anything at all. One single moment of discipl(ine) and this would have been over.

Lol, no.  Shouldn't have said anything, but this was going to get used in this manner no matter What happened.  Because the important thing is that the leftist pundits and political commenters get to cry racism, and the rightist pundits and political commenters get to call the President divisive and hiding behind the race card.

The outrage is all that matters, because outrage sells stuff Almost as well as sex does.

plewis: It's almost as if these people are incapable of learning.  And since when has it been a "thing" to have a president as a rodeo clown?

Since I like you I won't ask for a research fee.

Mr. Earnest could have just played it off and went on to the next question but he just couldn't. He showed that it affected him.

Wow his outrage burns with the heat of a billion suns. So responding to a question is "making a ruckus" now?

FTFA:  Mesquite Arena general manager Steve Gander told Unfair Park via email that the rodeo is not simply trying to troll liberals, who have an innate and universal hatred of rodeos.

You keep telling yourself that, Jethro. You probably don't think we're armed either.

Jeez, conservatives are pussies.

Can't blame the guy for cashing the paycheck

Did they even make much of a ruckus? The place I've heard about this the most is from conservative acquaintances linking to conservative blogs angry that some people might have a problem when you suggest running over the President with a bull.

EvilEgg: I don't see it as racist

It wasn't racist in the first place. What it was was pathetic and embarassing to hear a crowd of what, hundreds, chanting about how they'd like to see the President murdered by bulls.

Doing it with other Presidents is fine. Doing it with one seems creepily stupid. Politicizing everything and anything because of your dumb Tea 'tard shiat is still stupid though.

I wonder which one the announcer will ask the audience they want to see trampled by a bull?

EvilEgg: Unless the clown was doing stereotypical black things

IIRC the guy was flapping the lips on his mask up and down. That, and the announcer whipping up the crowd with "wanna see Obama get trampled by a bull?" Sounds pretty racist to me. Not that racists at a goddamn rodeo is exactly news.

Is he wearing black face? Any examples of racial jokes?

Oh, it's just an Obama mask and he's making fun of a President. Why that's as American as apple pie.
