stilted: There are already problems with wing shortages. Remember a couple of years ago when wing prices spiked around the Super Bowl? This is only going to exacerbate price/supply issues in the future./First world problems
Dow Jones and the Temple of Doom: Is there any type of food McDonalds won't royally fark up?
harakiri2k: They had these when I was in high school around 2001. Same name at least.
Swoop1809: Why are wings still a thing? Do people not know you can dip any cut of chicken in buffalo sauce?
EvilMonkeyBoy: Swoop1809: Why are wings still a thing? Do people not know you can dip any cut of chicken in buffalo sauce?Because wing meat is really tasty unlike the dry and tasteless white meat abominations that adults afraid of ordering Chicken Nuggets in public call "Boneless Wings"
Rapmaster2000: My friend has been kicking around this idea of starting an Atlanta page featuring the chicken bones that litter this city. They're everywhere. I was waiting to get on 85 at Clairmont the other day and there was a whole drumstick in the median. This makes me wonder, do people eat chicken on the bone in the car, and if so aren't their steering wheels and radio knobs covered in grease?
MassAsster: I remember McDonalds dark meat nuggets... R.I.P
JohnAnnArbor: What happens to the rest of the chicken?
wildcardjack: Mission Drift.Watching Restaurant Impossible, one of the common problems is a sprawling menu that requires the restaurant store piles of slow selling products. So now the burger joints think, in order to get as many customers as possible, they need to sell chicken products. And fish. And not just fries, but sweet potato fries. And six types of dessert. That was the shock of going into an In-N-Out when they first came here. Like the burger barn next to my old airport, it was just burgers and fries. So they do the best damned burger and fries they can, and surprisingly cheap because they don't have to rake in profits to cover slow products.
nikku88: That seems kind of expensive since the last time I was in the US (just a few weeks ago) you could get 20 chicken nuggets for $5.
LemSkroob: Alomst any decent pub/bar will at least have a 50cent price point, and often with a special night, like 25c each on wedesdays or something. And thats going to be double-fried to order and with a choice of a dozen sauces.
The Bestest: Still can. Of course, the "meat" used in McNuggets is entirely different than actual wings.
MassAsster: stilted: There are already problems with wing shortages. Remember a couple of years ago when wing prices spiked around the Super Bowl? This is only going to exacerbate price/supply issues in the future./First world problemsawwwwwwwwwwwww that's so cute! You actually believe them!
discgolfguru: Reminds me of going to BW3 for cheap wing night when I was in college. Of course, those were great wings. And they were 25 cents each./ think they are 60 cents each on the cheap wing night now
