Headso: In this thread: "yeah man! this douche canoe should totally get arrested! hell yeah! fark this guy!!"Next thread about US incarceration rates: "WTF! the private prison industrial complex is totally lobbying to make everyone go to jail for the dumbest stuff evar! fark those guys!"
Cletus C.: Stuck in traffic an hour leaving an air show? That seriously is some farked up traffic control.
LeroyBourne: I find it funny that there's still people these days that think the horn is gonna make traffic go any faster.
PsiChick: CSS: One time, when my family was in Vegas, my mom took a wrong turn (Vegas: Do not try to drive there without a map, and do not forget to buy a map for Henderson at the edge of Death Valley, that's the only place they sell it,) and we wound up driving on the strip. At one point, traffic came to a standstill. Naturally, the car behind us began honking like it was going out of style. My mom threatened that, the next time he honked, she would get out, walk over, and say, "You summoned me?"./Unfortunately, it didn't happen//The smackdown would've been epic///With the smart money on my mom
fastfxr: FrancoFile: Impatient, self-centered asshat is impatient, self-centered...Pretty much ALL cops are...
OregonVet: Yah, weekend warrior cops get a ticket book in their pocket for one day a year, you better believe they'll figure out a way to use it or even better get the opportunity to slap the cuffs on anyone in their way so they can brag about it on Monday.
LeroyBourne: Not full on blowing the horn in dead lock traffic, that's just farking stupid.
Kahabut: When the officer first told him he was under arrest.. what was it for?I have a problem with this, not because the asshole got his just deserts, but because the cop was over stepping himself.Personally, I'd handle it differently, but then, I'm not a redneck with a self entitlement problem. And I can afford an attorney.
Krieghund: ffacker: For everyone clamoring about how the cop was overstepping when he first told the guy he was under arrest, I would guess that the incessant horn honking and blatant belligerence was probable cause to suspect DUI.If the cop suspected DUI, he should have told the guy to pull off so he could investigate.Honking is free speech.Saying "fark you" to a cop is free speech. The guy broke the law for the first time when instant he moved his car when the cop said he was under arrest. And to make matters worse the cop was relatively near the car. Cops "get injured" every time that happens.I know I'm coming across as a cop hater, but I'm not. It's episodes like this one that fuels the people that are, though.
Cletus C.: This is a post from the air show's facebook page. I now believe the driver spent the day near this woman and all charges should be dismissed.
