Nope....if you remember, the recession ended in June 2009.  Obama owns this no matter how much the liberal democrats hate it.

Owns what? A declining unemployment rate? A growing economy? Oh yeah, we sure hate that. Don't throw us into that briar patch!

A site (and author) that's pushing books on how to prepare for the collapse of civilization might just possibly have a vested interest in making you believe civilization is collapsing.

So... more tax breaks?  Abortion restrictions?  Privatizing Social Security?  What will Republicans propose next to help out the economic front?

a growing jobless recovery....unemployment decline because more people are quitting looking for work, or have found part time low paying McJobs.....that is the briar patch we are in.....one where stuff costs more and you have less $$$$ to pay for it.

Obama's economy.  Any other questions you need clarified?

Stuff costs more? Citation needed.

Jobless recovery? Citation needed.

People quitting looking for work? Citation needed.

Maybe if you viewed the world outside of the conservative talking-point bubble, you'd be a lot more connected to reality.

Your web site containing the writer's or group of writers' own experiences, observations, opinions, etc., and often having images and links to other Web sites, is producing a partial vacuum by action of the lips and tongue.

But, seriously - this is like saying that chain smokers often have serious health issues shortly following a visit to an oncologist. You got the sequence right, but might be just a tad hazy on the causation.

In other words, that's republican.

This is anecdotal, but I remember being able to buy 3 heads of garlic for $1 in 2005. Now it's 2 for $1.

But, you know, I don't blame that on the f*cking president.

LESS people implies that they are only partial people, like zombies, or amputees. FEWER = numbers of things.

It's quite anecdotal. Inflation is in fact very low.

It's funny, because the solution to these problems (some of which actually exist) is for Obama to do socialist kinds of things.

This whole thing reminds me of the Erick Erickson inflation thing a while ago where he basically said Americans are upset because milk and bread were going up in price, and then Krugman pulled out actual data showing that's just false, and Erickson responded saying it felt true to people, so his point stands. Spreading misinformation and then relying on the reaction to those lies as evidence that the underlying unhappiness is still valid.

Just for giggles, I watched a few eps of "Doomsday Preppers" and not a single one of those folks seemed like they'd know what the hell to do if a house fire broke out. Or if a tornado hit. Or if a family breadwinner lost their job -- or had a heart attack. Or the car broke down. Ya know, real disasters that actually happen.

It must be terrible to constantly think you are on the precipice of total societal collapse and that you (and possibly your family, if they can stand being near you) are completely prepared for it, and then you die 50 years later in a completely stable, liberal, and perhaps even egalitarian society. All that wasted effort!

Could you provide some citations to back up your claims as to a depression caused by the president?
