And the subby somehow bought into it.

Reread the article subby... there is ZERO in the article indicating "Irsay may be interested".   The whole article is the writers "theory" that "Irsay is unpredicatable"... and "signing Owens would be a bold, unpredictable move"... so, therefore, he may just do it!

The best I can figure is EJ McKinnley is a Colts fan who wants them to sign Owens (or an Owens fan who wants him to sign anywhere).

Why haven't the Niners signed Brandon Lloyd yet?

Or even TO.

I propose a confiscatory tax on every website that autoplays videos in sidebars.

There's not a Colts fan in the world who would want to sign Owens. As far as I can tell EJ McKinley is either mentally deficient or has severe autism and is fixating on one thing.

Sure.  But the Niners' starting WRs are Boldin and Kyle Williams.

No, this should not happen. TO turns everything into garbage the moment he joins a football team. This is poisonous to a young Andrew Luck.

The Houston Texans will probably clinch the AFC South if this happens.

Wasn't TO on the seahawks preseason squad last year? I doubt the colts pick him up anymore than the bills will pick up Matt Lienert.

I'm witholding my opinion until 4chan asks EJ to dance in front of the computer naked before I agree with the autism diagnosis.

I guess you can say anything on the internet as long as you end it with a question mark? Fake & speculative blog post is fake & speculative.

B. Bloyd is lost without Josh McDaniels

Does this mean the Colts will actually get TO?

The Colts have absolutely no need for Owens.  None.  The writer says that TO would be a leader in the locker room.  Are the Colts lacking in that with Reggie Wayne, Cory Redding, Robert Mathis, Adam Vinatieri, Samson Satele, Antoine Bethea and lets not forget their QB.  Their receiving corps is considered one of the best in the NFL at this point anyway, with Wayne, Heyward-Bey and Hilton as good a 1, 2, 3 unit out there.  Past that, Lavon Brazill and Griff Whalen will probably have decent to good seasons.  They've got legitimate weapons out of the backfield catching the ball in Bradshaw and Brown, and two tight ends who have Pro Bowl ability, should they get healthy.

Adding Owens makes absolutely ZERO sense whatsoever.

Lets just say that tomorrow when you go to get your coffee from starbucks, you're going to leave the coffee on top of your car.

FTA: What I really mean by this is that he is a man not afraid to take risks. He let go of Peyton Manning.

In reality: Irsay let go of Manning because it was too risky.

It was only risky in the sense that it was better to have 15 years of Luck than another awesome 5 years of Manning.
