FTFA: all they got was their picture taken in front of a life-size picture of "The Apprentice" TV star

Anyone stupid enough to think that they'd get a real education at "Trump University" deserves to get ripped off.  It's no secret that Trump is a con artist.

No, he's just about as scummy as I thought.  The surprising thing is that there are people dumb enough to throw money at him for these seminars.  The only class he could really teach is "How to Take Money from Idiots".

You'll forgive me if I am not terrible surprised. This is on par with the wonderful "advice" and guidance from a Zig Ziglar seminar...

Trump University? Is it a fraud if no one in their right mind would take it seriously? It couldn't be more obvious if they called it "Trump Kollege" with a K just to make sure no one could claim they were misled into thinking it was a real school.

To be fair, those establishments tell you that your getting ripped off. "Everyone's a winner at AArons!"

Actually... I guess they don't really

I think that is only step one, step two is continue to be a douchebag like you're daddy to increase said assets. (Yes like you're  (you are) daddy. Could easily go the other way "like your daddy" but both work in this instance and I went with you're. Deal with it.)

He started with only $400 million, and after the bankruptcies of several of his companies (all of which increased his personal fortune) he was able to become a billionaire (by his own merit).

Yes, this is not beyond Trump's scummyness (if that's a word). But I'm nowhere near surprised that there are people dumb enough to buy into his crap.

2013-08-25 01:55:00 AM
Nope.  That sounds about right.

Trump is the guy who sued some shiatty bar in rural Georgia because it was called Trump's - like any of the people who lived in that small tow might confuse the bar with the egotistical billionaire.

I don't remember the outcome of that lawsuit, but if I had been the bar's owner I would have taken a sledgehammer and knocked out the "T" and called it Rumps and then put up billboards loudly proclaiming that my bar was the one that was such a threat to Donald Trump that he sued us.

They have everything: Hope 101, 102 and 103; Faith 101, 102 and 103; and Charity 101, 102 and 103.
Hope is economics, Faith is American history, and Charity is political science...

Who would be willing toupée that much?

Also, how can this be any more than a minor ego boost for old Donald?  It couldn't be enough profit for him to notice in his balance sheets.

In "you are X", X must be an adjective. Daddy is a noun.

I laughed, but it's not a toupée. Why in the hell would anyone *pay* for that hair?
