Adds new meaning to the term "spear fishing."

Good thing it was vertical video.  If it actually filled a meaningful part of my screen, I might have been seasick.

I did get seasick from the vertical video. Cool fish catch.

I worked one of these boats for about a year back in the day. One of the things marlin do when they're hooked is go after the thing that has them, it's something to see them getting up to speed and charging the boat.
Usually you see them coming and can break port or starboard and make them miss, but if you don't, yeah this happens.
Nice fish!

Except for the fact there was a rod, reel and bait, that headline is spot on, subby.

Actually, an unexpected marlin on deck could be classified as a "problem".  So basically the entire headline was false.

I know right. It's so much better to only see a part of the subject. Like how actors always have the top of their heads cut off. I like that. It brings me peace.

Anyone else notice that the spear came about two inches away from the first guys face as it flew past him? That was almost a horrid snuff film.

It died as a result of injuries it sustained when it hit the boat?

Totally staged.  That fish was in on it.

It snapped its nose spear off which I am sure is connected to its skull plate somewhere, it was bleeding from the eye.

Yeah, I suppose then that that would be a problem.

This. I'm surprised he didn't add "no boat" as well.

In the remainder of the shot, which was edited out, the crew beat the thing to death.

Vertical video?
30 seconds of useless footage at the beginning?
Go Fark yourself.

I didn't notice the vertical video because I was busy watching the center of the frame, where the action started unfolding long before the fish jumped.
