I hope they kept their cool.  I'd hate to see anyone lose their head on a greyhound trip.

That time if year. Hope everyone is OK.

We had a rule when they came: don't leave them alone with anything complicated or dangerous.

How was Grayhound involved again?

Greyhound is shorthand for any commercial bus line.  It's like using a Kleenex or making a Xerox.

Good headline.  Hope the one critical will be ok.

Racially motivated! Why we keep letting these Greyhounds attack our servicemen

I've never seen Greyhound used in a generic way before.

You bought a five-ton? That's pretty neat. It'd be a great GTFO vehicle, assuming you could keep enough fuel for it.

It's a mutifuel. I can run diesel, veggie oil, kerosene etc. The 50 gallon stock tank is full and I have a 200 gallon gravity fed saddle tank in the bed that stays full. I get 8-10 mpg and the 6x6 air-interlock is a beast.

Thanks. For a long time they were relatively cheap, but the gov't has sold most of the cargo trucks now. Mostly what's up for bid are the 5 ton tractors, cargo trucks and dump trucks. While I'd love to have a 5 ton, they aren't really practical for a G.O.O.D. vehicle; plus the engines in them have a tendency to run away and crater themselves.

Plus, I'm dealing with 50 year old technology. I can fix everything with parts from a mom and pop tractor supply store. (that's where I get most of my parts anyway!)

Hee's a vid from when I first got it. I was taking it easy....

Could have been worse.
They could have been at Kent State.
Just minding their own beeswax, when a National Guardsman determined his life was in danger and tossed a bullet 100 yards in to the heart of a girl crossing the campus and killed her with no legal consequences whatsoever.

If each of those brave soldiers had had a bus, they could have stopped this.

These guys were returning home from deployment, most likely Iraq or Afganistan.
Sad, best wishes, hope everyone can be home soon.

In communist countries they deliberately injure every worker left unscathed after an accident.

It's the only way to be sure.

Purported Regular Army hardguys boasting about how no bus crash would ever injure THEM, b/c they're made of stronger stuff than Reserve Component "weekend warriors" in 3...2..1....

Sounds more like they were coming home from their annual training.
