There are going to be a lot of cranky Americans if they do not get their coffee.

I like the caffeine. It's the COFFEE I can do without.

I like my coffee the same as I like my women: hot, cheap, and available at 7-11.

Well...fortunately I don't have to rely on Juan Valdez, and instead go to Pablo Rodriguez in Guatemala, Teodoworos in Ethiopia, and Hadi in Indonesia :D

(Fair trade coffee for teh win. :D  And yes, this is possible even with a Keurig--it's called "Get a reusable K-cup and buy the fair trade stuff and grind it yerself so you can brew one cup at a time".  Y'all with Tassimo or Gevalia units might be farked, though :D)

/and yes, kids, I am investing in a nice, proper French Press.  For travel and camping, of course :3

ironically despite cocaine being much more valuable than coffee beans, the farmers barely see any of the money

I'm a grande man myself.  Don't matter to me, they all taste good as long as the equipment's cleaned regularly.

If they legalized it, it might be different. Your probably right though, the coca farmer union would be right there beside the coffee union.
