A hush falls over the general assembly as Stacy approaches the podium to deliver what will no doubt be a stirring and memorable address.

"I wish they taught shopping in school!"

I'm very VERY disappointed in all of you Farkers.

ladyfortuna: dj_bigbird: It's clear the ads have succeeded.

Ads? Please, most girls are indoctrinated to the shopping lifestyle before they can read.

I got off easy; my mom was old-school and learned Depression era thrifty ways from Granny, even though she didn't need them.

That's a risky way to start a sentence about your mom and grandma around here.

Yup.  That is the rule book we work from thanks to being complete dicks to women for several thousand years.  It sucks, but hey, at least we could usually get laid without threat of stoning or societal shunning for the last couple hundred decades.

This ladies and gentlemen is what we call a tool. Make sure to get a good look so you can recognize them in the future.

Ringshadow: I loathe shopping. Unless it's suits or comic books. Then I love shopping. There is no pleasure like wearing a three piece suit and tie while eating good sushi and reading my newest graphic novel. Outside that? Oh hell to the no.

The only time I get excited about shopping is when it's for electronics. Or toys for my nephews. Because that way, I can cruise the Batman and GI Joe aisle and not feel weird. The nieces, not so much. "Uh...I guess a barbie? But what kind? Surf barbie? Vet Barbie? Malibu surf Barb....Two kinds of surfing barbies? AAAAAAAH! *curls on the floor in a ball of my own urine and tears*"

/Got my 6 year old niece a Alfred Hitchock The Birds edition of a barbie one year.  Had some terrifed looking barbie with little birds stuck all over her. It was awesome. Her mom wasn't as pleased as I was.

Advertising is all about placement.

Highroller48: I always thought girls went to malls to have sex in a very uncomfortable place.
