(Peninsula Daily News)   If you're in jail accused of bulldozing your neighbor's home, the one thing you need to make sure you bring in to court with you is a bag full of dead bugs. I learned this from the Lionel Hutz School of Lawyering   (peninsuladailynews.com) divider line 18

It's Port Angeles, where bugs are known as "a great source of protein, man"

So, it's the insanity defense, is it?

Hutz: Mr. Simpson, don't you worry. I watched Matlock in a bar last night. The sound wasn't on, but I think I got the gist of it.

Yes. His mental state is playing a front and center role in his trial. Also, this particular neighborhood is a bit of gem in town. More trailers and meth per acre than anywhere else in the greater metro P.A. area.

This must be Thursday.  Some people never could get the hang of Thursdays.

Pretty much.  Then again, it's PA so almost everything there is wannabe.

More like 'Killdozer lite'.

The neighbors all said something along the lines of 'We all knew this day was coming'.

"Just look at all these ants! I caught them with my bare hands! And put them in this bag! I want the judge to see them!"

My god, I pity his cellmates, seriously; they must be terrified of this guy.

"Ol' Fred is catching ants again."
"Just play it cool....back away slowly..."

I'm in the area now. The town has some weird quirks to be sure. It has more than its share of weird people. I would say that the good outweighs the bad (as long as you stay out of Gale's Addition). One just has to focus on the mountains and ocean and beauty of nature, as well as nearby urban centers of culture

Heh...the "burglary....with a bulldozer" charges are a nice touch...did he actually steal anything, during his rampage?

You poor bastard.  Unless you're working for Dave Anstead there's not much in the way of a decent job around there.

urban

Pick any two.   Unless you're talking about Victoria I have no idea where you get "nearby".  Although I guess if you live in P.A. then Bellingham qualifies as "urban"...
