I've been to the main Stone location a few times the last couple months, and w00t is actually pretty popular among the employees there - guys and girls alike, if that matters.

Not being a fanboi, it really is pretty good.  It's sortof like a barleywine, but less gay.

Not my favorite, but it's decent, especially if you want a lighter stout. I swung by Stone's O-side shop looking for bottles, but they were out. I got some on tap though. Clerk said they did two runs of w00tstout, expecting more soon.

I'm starting to think wOOtstout doesn't exist.  They claim it's sold in Idaho but nobody has heard of it yet.

I think I got the only case in south east PA.  HAHAHAHA.  I'm enjoying it.

I usually always drink imports, Newcastle being my favorite, but I'm not a beer snob.
That said, I think Heineken is one of the worst beers on the planet. The aftertaste is foul and skunky.

There's an awful lot of tires on a truck like that. How does one lose control that badly after having just one blow out? Those tires are extremely beefy, too, so it's not like he'd go straight to the rim and dig into the pavement like a car would.

Also, aren't tire inspections part of weigh station procedure?

I guess that because it's Heineken there weren't any looters visible
after all even looters have some taste

Its a lot better in a can or keg, the skunk comes from light let in from the green bottle breaking down compounds in the beer. That's why everyone else uses brown bottles.

Because those are stouts right?

But honestly, w00tsout isn't bad. Not the best by any stretch, but not terrible.

if you blow out a steer tire you're fairly well screwed driving anything.

W00tstout DOES exist.
I got a couple of bottles in the fridge.
GREAT PRICE!
There are 3 different bottle labels.

Great depth, taste, and 13%ABV.

Subby, for it to be w00tstout that would require there to be enough w00tstout in one place to fill a truck.

/only booze store in the city that had it said they had 12 bottles, that were gone within a hour of opening.

read the urls... I don't think "Shiattybeer.com" is a real site...

But if they made beer, it'd probably be better than w00tderp

Bearing PA's liquor laws, I had to buy a case and it came out to $6/bottle.

A lighter stout? Maybe they watered yours down, but I can't recall a "heavier stout".

---- VERY FAIR!!
Congrats on your wise purchase. Save some to sell in a few years.
I fully expected by the taste and ABV that this would be over $10 a bottle at a store.
I bet it is in SoCal.

the wOOT is... unique.
as mentioned 13%.
I kept trying to picture the sweater model drinking it like an ale & liking it, as i was sipping it, i just couldn't imagine him doing that to himself.
so, obviously not a session beer, i would suggest a snifter not a pint & the different ingredients were more pronounced as it "cooled off" or warmed (not sure if that the proper term) so, cold you lose a lot of the flavors, warm it started to surprise.
I very much enjoyed it once i figured out how to do so. I probably won't purchase anymore bombers of it (unless i am hanging w/ friends & want to share) but i will definitely be working it into the lineup when i visit a Stone facility.
by the way, Stone @ Liberty Station S.D. is farking awesome, if you can, go.

The last time I bought a case of Heineken there was something seriously wrong with it... I drank a few then drained the rest and got pretty ill.  I'm guessing I was not the only one.  Never again.
