wouldn't that be enough wins for like 10 million years?

And Chris sale would still have more losses than wins somehow

"Good, gutsy win," Sox manager Robin Ventura said.

Getting paid a ton to play a game sure shows bravery.

I can't reproduce Subby's math.

Suffice it to say 1 brazilion wins would take many years for other teams to overcome.

Dude, if you want me to get irritated by other departments, fark, and spend 30 minutes a day actually fixing shiat on my company's website in front of a hundred thousand people, I'll give it a shot.

Oh, also I'm not attacking the salaries. If they can milk that much out of consumers, that's cool. Sox tickets are usually cheap enough that I'm not worried about how they spend their money. I just don't think a single game or performance is more gutsy than another.

/Bears tickets, on the other hand...

What, you think the money should go to the billionaire owners, the multi-national corporations who own the TV stations, or the ticket scalpers?

Do it while being put up against the top 800 people in the world at your job, and I'll be impressed. But yeah, I guess you just view the term "gutsy" in a different light than I do. If he had said "heroic win" I'd probably be right there with you. As it stands I think gutsy just means scrappy and hard-fought.

The game involved a Chicago team, so the money should go to Rahm Emanuel and various departments of the city government. They will no doubt use it wisely and in the best interest of everybody.
