Nothing to see here. Spouses taking the fall was what put Todd Palin in prison too. You do whatever you can to protect the breadwinner in the family and if that means lie and commit perjury to get them off the rap, so be it.

The event was arranged by the First Lady's office.

The First Lady's office? I don't recall voting for the First Lady, Bobbo (actually, I voted for Creigh "The Human Valium" Deeds), so anything she did was under the color of your office.

As I've said several times about our Governor, he is either an idiot or a liar. And he thinks we're all to dumb to notice.

"Anything Jonnie Williams did for Mrs. McDonnell and her family was done solely out of friendship, at least that's what she understood for her part," Burck told the Post. "If Jonnie Williams is telling the government something different, it can only be because he's willing to say anything to save himself from prosecution for other crimes."

Yes, that's how these things sometimes go.  Doesn't mean McDonnell is innocent.  It might mean Williams was offered a plea because Bob's the bigger fish.

You expect us to believe that she was getting hundreds of thousands in gifts, including paying for their daughters wedding, and she didn't tell her husband?  Really?

I can almost see that making sense.  When money grows on trees for you, maybe you just stop asking questions -, even for big ticket items.  Doesn't really matter legally - you're required to know the rules regarding "gifts."

A picture of this scum bag was supposed to go with this.  Not sure what happened.

Edwards was shunned and tossed aside. This guy still has a 47% popularity rating.

Party of personal responsibility (as seen by your post. "look over there!!!")

FTA: Bob McDonnell has insisted they were loans

What Edwards did in my opinion was worse, becaue he almost became vice president.

I'm a registered democrat who has never voted republican.  Yes, we are few in Kansas but we do exist.
