Frank N Stein: Viginia?
Arkanaut: Frank N Stein: Viginia?Seriously, who mispells Virgina?
Aristocles: FTFA: The gifts scandal that has rocked the Virginia governor's mansion has reached a critical juncture.lolwut.jpgAside from a few leftest blogs, no one gives two craps about this "scandal" in Virginia.
Wellon Dowd: The event was arranged by the First Lady's office. The First Lady's office? I don't recall voting for the First Lady, Bobbo (actually, I voted for Creigh "The Human Valium" Deeds), so anything she did was under the color of your office. As I've said several times about our Governor, he is either an idiot or a liar. And he thinks we're all to dumb to notice.
somedude210: Arkanaut: Frank N Stein: Viginia?Seriously, who mispells Virgina?Probably just in a rush to submit the headline and leave? Failure to check spellcheck? Maybe subby needed to watch more CNN coverage of Honey Boo Boo?
BitwiseShift: That's one big lady. Does the governor's mansion have a crane?
RexTalionis: And yet, for some reason, McDonnell still has a 47% approval rating./I don't get it either.
Aristocles: Aside from a few leftest blogs, no one gives two craps about this "scandal" in Virginia.
Vodka Zombie: I'm sure Virginia's First Lady will have no objection should the state decide to probe much deeper into this.
Wellon Dowd: Democrat Terry McAuliffe is up 6 percentage points over Republican rival Ken Cuccinelli among voters likely to cast ballots in the Virginia gubernatorial election in November, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.
Frank N Stein: This is your submission isn't it?
Bigdogdaddy: Bigdogdaddy: Amateur![www.blogcdn.com image 427x255]A picture of this scum bag was supposed to go with this. Not sure what happened.
cptjeff: Aristocles: FTFA: The gifts scandal that has rocked the Virginia governor's mansion has reached a critical juncture.lolwut.jpgAside from a few leftest blogs, no one gives two craps about this "scandal" in Virginia. The two largest newspapers in Virginia have called on him to resign. The Washington Post has toed right up to that line, but hasn't quite crossed over yet. The FBI is very, very close to indicting him on corruption charges- they had all day meetings with McDonnell's lawyers (as well as his wife's separate legal team- read into that what you will). You not caring does not make it less important.
Diogenes: "Anything Jonnie Williams did for Mrs. McDonnell and her family was done solely out of friendship, at least that's what she understood for her part," Burck told the Post. "If Jonnie Williams is telling the government something different, it can only be because he's willing to say anything to save himself from prosecution for other crimes."Yes, that's how these things sometimes go. Doesn't mean McDonnell is innocent. It might mean Williams was offered a plea because Bob's the bigger fish.
Satanic_Hamster: And a person "familiar with the investigation" has told the newspaper that Bob McDonnell's legal team has told authorities that the first lady kept the governor in the dark about Williams' gifts. You expect us to believe that she was getting hundreds of thousands in gifts, including paying for their daughters wedding, and she didn't tell her husband? Really?
xsarien: Throw the wife under the bus. Nice.
