These kids need ot be off of the streets.  Now, if he'd be at the YMCA, he might not have been so bored.
Does it cost less to lock up bored criminals, or send them to summer camp?

thought: kill him immediately.
2nd thought: go to the local shelter and hug all the kittens.

To be fair though, one is a remorseless killing machine with no regard or compassion for the sanctity of life.

The other is some psychotic brat.

spare the rod, spoil the child.

these little shiats have been raised in a Dr. Spock world because their parents never gave them any real punishment.

here is a bit from this article http://www.wnd.com/2009/01/87179/

In 1946, Dr. Benjamin Spock first published his infamous book "Common Sense Book of Baby and Child Care," which was unlike any that came before it. Instead of stressing the importance of teaching self-denial and respect for authority, Spock discouraged directive training and emphasized accommodating children's feelings and catering to their preferences. No longer did children learn they could endure Brussels sprouts and suffer through daily chores. Using Spock's approach, parents began to feed self-indulgence instead of instilling self-control - homes were becoming child-centered. As parents elevated children's "freedom of expression" and natural cravings, children became more outspoken, defiant and demanding of gratification. In fact, they came to view gratification as a right.

2013-08-21 05:36:27 PM
I have a friend who has more or less admitted that when he was young, he and his friends used to abuse cats.  He's tried to say it laughingly, but you can tell it's a kind of confession.  His joke is, "I'll probably burn in hell for that."  So he's had it on his conscience ever since.  He's the kind of guy who wouldn't hurt a fly now, although he's the biggest, scariest looking mofo you've ever seen.

This kid will either turn out to be a serial killer, or he also will one day realize what he's done and then carry guilt around.

Me, I still feel bad for shooting birds with a BB gun when I was a kid.  Shot one right through the eye.  Don't remember what it was but it was beautiful.  That's the strange thing about being a kid--I felt bad about it in a way, somehow knew that it felt wrong, and yet I kept shooting birds.  Then there came a time when I shot a blackbird, and I had to go pick it up in the yard and carry it to the trash.  Something clicked, and I never shot another bird again.

Yes, of course. Everyone knows that beating the shiat out of your child will make them a well-adjusted, non-violent adult.

Yessirree, nothing's more likely to dispense reasonable child rearing advice than World Nut Daily.

Spock counteracted the really stupid child-care books of the early 20th century, which focused on rigid toilet-training and feeding schedules, and discouraged parents from showing physical affection to their kids. What he mainly did was advise parents to use their own best judgment, instead of listening to quacks.

Where did I say beating the shiat out of the kid? You got some locked up memories that are eating you up?

Real punishment consists of rules and consequences.

If the do something wrong you can punish by taking away their xbox, cell phone, make them clean the attic, etc.  Most parents just act like it is cute and give their kids a hug and a five minute time out.

I was whipped twice in my life.

1. Age six I set the carpet on fire at 2 am playing with matches.
2. Age 5 I ran across three lanes of traffic to get to the mall, and my grandmother spanked me inside the mall.

I was beaten but I damn sure learned to rethink all my brilliant ideas.

My father is still upset, at 82, he whipped me, but hey I almost burned the house down.

These kids are being raised without consequences.

I don't think bed wetting is considered an indicator of psychopathy any longer. Unless of course, one is wetting a bed which they stuffed with tortured kittens then set on fire.

Waaay to nice.

I'd like to see a him scratched by a few hundred cats then bathed in a bath of cat urine and feces.
After that, make him watch The View while getting his genitals treated with razors and lemon juice.

You can put a notion in a kid's head without hitting him. I agree that kids seem less well-disciplined, but they don't seem to beat on or bully each other as much, either.

I am rereading Tom Sayer now. I didn't remember the part where Huck Finn and Tom were playing with a dead cat. (didn't say they killed him. Just played with the dead animal.)

I was shocked at that. Contemplating how far we have come as a society.

Today I RTFA, and read these comments. The more we change, the more we stay the same.

Humans are animals. With all the in-bred cruelty that implies. Nor am I excusing myself. I too would gladly hurt this person if I caught him in the act. At least I am a little different. I would put him down humanely.

Yeah, I put "kittens" above "future serial killer and/or rapist and/or Fortune 500 CEO" on my list of things I feel bad about killing.

Way above.

I'm funny like that.
