Funny thing, not so long ago there were plenty of Proboscidea in Alberta.

The National Zoo is really too small for elephants though. Someplace like the NC Zoo where they have a couple of acres to move around would be better. What I'd really like to see though is if somebody bought a big piece of land in south Texas, fenced it, and just let the elephants roam. I think there are a couple of places like that in the US.
