I hope somebody outs this idiot.

Come at me (at a speed of 8.98487 mph), bro.

// I'd say the one with the problems should move
// What's that? You don't think it's fair that you should have to uproot your life based on the whims of others?

What a horrible person.

I mean, what kind of monster would willingly purchase paper that color, let alone use it?!

What kind of sounds is he possibly making?

I'm pretty sure someone is about to learn a thing or two about the perils of being a flagrant asshole in the information age.

2013-08-20 01:34:45 PM
Years ago when before I bought my home I lived in an apt that was an older building that had thick walls and thick metal doors. I hardly ever heard a peep. The only neighbors I heard were the 7 guys that lived in the efficiancy below me that would blare spanish techno and the autistic kid down the hall that would scream from 8 to 8. The only time it ever bugged me was when I was hungover but I wouldnt send a letter.

2013-08-20 01:35:18 PM
You ever notice how a-holes don't ever have the nerve to present themselves, and yet, in the letter [s]/he says they "have to tell you, because nobody else had the nerve."   If you weren't such a p*ssy, you'd discuss it with them in person.

/!!!!!

2013-08-20 01:35:22 PM
Meh, pink paper, badly written, this looks fake. I'm betting the mother sent it to herself to get attention and/or donations.

2013-08-20 01:35:51 PM
Call Tobis Funke. The author needs a good analrapist, if you ask me.

2013-08-20 01:36:19 PM
This is one of the FEW times I am looking forward to "internet outrage" going overboard and getting out of control. I seriously doubt law enforcement will actually DO anything, but believe me, now that this is viral, karma is gonna be a coont-biatch to this lady!

So grab your popcorn, Farkers: This is JUST getting started!

2013-08-20 01:36:28 PM
I'm not arguing the douchery of the letter.
But why is being offended the END OF THE FARKING WORLD?  So what?

2013-08-20 01:36:32 PM
Odds on this actually being the work of an adult?  And on purple paper?  I'm going with teenage girl.

Also, shame on the author for excessive use of !s.

2013-08-20 01:36:33 PM
The mom wrote the letter, going for the coveted attention whore/shock value/fame angle.

I have no evidence to support this other than I can't imagine someone would write such a thing and give it to the mother of a child with autism.

2013-08-20 01:36:42 PM
This has been showing up in my facebook "news feed" for the last couple of days

/several friends with autistic children

I hate this kind of crap. On the one hand, it is truly, ridiculously over-the-top horrible...
But, I've grown so jaded by the modern "everybody look at me, my child has ADD/autism/Asperger's/etc, now pay attention to me!" parent, that there's always wonder...did the mother write it herself just to get attention?

/I hate being this skeptical sometimes
//Friend's wife does this, so yes, I have a biased reason for being this much of a bastard

That never happens! Especially if the story appears on the Huffington Post!

Should be interesting seeing the Farkers who are head over heels in love with abortion try to keep a straight face while talking about how this imperfect human being is entitled to his dignity.

2013-08-20 01:37:11 PM
What did they do with autistic kids in the 1950s? Whatever it was, we should return to doing that.

2013-08-20 01:37:28 PM
How long before the letter is shown to be the product of the kid's own stressed-out, slightly unglued mother?

Cynical? Maybe. But such things have happened before.

2013-08-20 01:38:23 PM
AW stunt. Smells worse than the my crossdressing toddler was assaulted in wal-mart by a guy from duck dynasty and democrats carved a backwards 'B' for Obama on my face.

I thought it could be a fake but I'm leaning toward teenage kid who thought he was being funny.

Either way, someone likes excess punctuation!

2013-08-20 01:39:33 PM
Isn't this a repeat or did I see it somewhere else the other day. I havent heard of any progress on finding the biatch though.

Like most of you, I am patiently waiting/wanting this heathen outed so we can rip her to shreds.

Vamose?

Caught my eye as well. I don't think I've ever seen that word used outside of a Yosemite Sam cartoon.
That said, as evil and vile as that letter is, I don't see a threat.

SOMEONE WROTE A MEAN LETTER!  UPROAR, COMMENCE!

/meh

Need more details.  Did mom  just send the kid outside every day unmonitored?  Of course letter-writer is a beyotch, however there could be a few valid points buried deep in the derp.

This story is several days old.  The latest I read on it was that the community is trying to out this cretin and that when they find out who sent the letter there will be intimidation charges pressed.

Remember, this is Canada and not the U.S.

That is what I thought too.  Particularly when the letter says she should donate the kid's non-retarded bits to science.

I don't think there's any danger of Peak A-Hole being reached anytime soon.

Well, that letter escalated quickly.

This.

Ooh... maybe that.

Chained them to rape beds in asylums and when their holes were worn out, they would die of "pneumonia"

What did you think happened?

What a coward. Use your real name, asshole, instead of this "one pissed off mother" nonsense.

Now you've managed to piss off most of the internet. Well done. Good luck when /b/ figures out who you are.

No.  Not unless you're into eugenics.

China White Tea: I'm pretty sure someone is about to learn a thing or two about the perils of being a flagrant asshole in the information age.

Indeed.  It's one thing to have asshole thoughts (hey, we all do from time to time), but putting them to a permanent medium, even paper, is a bad idea these days.  We'll know who "one pissed off mother" is by the end of the week, and within 24 hours after that we'll know her home address and telephone number.  After that, she'll be getting ALL THE PIZZAS delivered to her house.

/I still think the asshole record is still held by that lady who taunted the neighbor's terminally-ill 7-yo daughter.  That was pretty horrible.

Won't someone please address the ongoing problem we have in America regarding overpunctualization?????

??????????

?????????????????????

2013-08-20 01:43:17 PM
The police are investigating this "threat." Where is the threat? Nothing more than some insensitive obnoxious loud mouth sounding off. I fail to see any where in the letter where a threatening action was impending. Yeah they told the parents to euthanize the kid - but again, unless I am missing something, letter writer didn't threaten to do any thing.

Really, am I missing something here?

I wonder what they will do when they find out it's the kid's mom.

This was in Canada.  So if you meant the US part of America, you're off.  If you meant all of the Americas... yeah, I doubt you meant that.

I was not aware /b/ had switched from electronic to a pink paper medium.

This doesn't come close to the a-hole threshold.  Stress is a biatch and makes you do biatchy things.  Put the kid in a soundproof kid-sized hamster ball and be done with it.
