I, for one, always believe any theories put forth by random bloggers. If you write about it on the internet, it must be true, right?

I am fairly certain that the large woman is, in fact, a former navy-woman from Switzerland who has recently fallen on hard times and had to pawn their father's watch.

I think it's great.  About time these "handicapped" drains on society started giving back.  She should be happy she was given some purpose.

This is one of those scenarios that would make a hilarious section of a comedy skit, basically because it's assumed by the audience that no one would be that big of a jackass in real life.  Then, this lady comes along and screws up that assumption.

Indeed, but there's always one that is too cool for kitten memes or feigns oblivion.
Faint oblivion is a whole other thing, possibly induced by tubs o' lard sitting on you like in tfa.

Um..  Anybody heard of compression therapy?

Don't know what the kids root problem but I seem to recall that compression is used as a therapy.

They even have inflatable compression jackets that act like a hug. It has a calming behavior.

Not saying that's what the photo shows, but who knows right?

Sounds like a plan. Mr. Ninja, how about you go first and provide a plausible scinario wherein it is acceptable for a 200 lb lady to sit on top of a 60 lb invalid.

No, her face is saying "I'm shiatting myself, right now and constantly."

I'm impressed no one has even been able to offer any justification for this. Let's instead speculate on their relationship. Mother, caregiver, or random stranger?

"YOUR'E SITTING ON POTATO!!!"

She is not sitting on the kid's legs. That wheelchair has a high, wide foam hump in the middle of the seat that is designed to keep the kid's legs apart and improve her sitting posture. Dumb caregiver lady is perched on that hump. The hump, and the foot she has on the floor, are holding her weight. She is NOT sitting on the kid. Look at the kid's shoes, and follow her legs upward (which is a little difficult, because she's wearing black pants) and you will see how wide apart her legs are. That's because of the special chair-with-hump. So the woman's not sitting on the kid, but this still is disrespectful to the kid, who doesn't need to be boxed in like that. It's dumb, but it's not abusive, IMHO.

Well I was thinking that if I appeared handicapped as this person, that it could be fun to have my cargiver sit on me so that I may sit back and enjoy the shiatstorm of moral outrage that ensued on my behalf.

Yeah, but that "hump" is probably a $2000 piece of molded foam that insurance probably wasn't covered by insurance. It was probably not designed to take weight from that angle.
