They are on a table and nobody is touching them. I carry a loaded gun (in Jeff Cooper's condition 0) with me almost every day. When I take it off I put it on a table.

They don't simply just become erumpent with bullets by themselves.

These is nothing wrong in that picture.

Really? This is the angle they're going with?

They never become erumpent with bullets: they're not rivers full of bullet-salmon, they're guns.

Talk about desperation! Once again, the comments don't fail to disappoint. Sometimes, I wonder if these guys even listen to themselves.

I have never felt a need to carry a gun with me at all.

There doesn't appear to be anything terrifying to me about that picture either.

I feel like I should go get a gun just to see what all the fuss is about.

I told myself not to read the comments section, but did I listen?  No, and now it's too late.

Table at Press Conference Opens Fire, Kills 13 Reporters, Injures 35

During a press conference on Monday, New York Police Department Commissioner Ray Kelly and New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg held a press conference to discuss the biggest illegal firearms seizure in the city. During a question and answer session held by the mayor, a brave reporter from The Blaze asked the following question: "Why come you taked the guns if the guns belong to 'merica and you're just some lib commie city who I hate, except because of 9/11 which means I Heart NY since American people must come together to fight the terror?"

Whether out of extreme anger or inability to answer the question without being labeled a freedom-snatching terrorist no one could say, but after the question was posed, the table set up to display all the seized guns began to open fire on the crowd of reporters. The Blaze reporter who asked the question and twelve other reporters from conservative freedom news outlets were shot in the head and died instantly. Other reporters for relatively moderate news sources were injured by the mad table.

At the time of this article's writing, Mayor Bloomberg would not comment on the situation. Kelly told us "we are trying to determine right now if the table had any connection to Big Gulps or black people".

Dear me Sir or Madam. I would really appreciate if you would not make me laugh this hard, this early in the morning.

Sure, as long as nobody picks one up with anyone in the room.

The fact you can walk in and out of a room with over two hundred weapons, and no one is injured, only proves that guns are not the problem.

/enter a room with two hundred gang members and the results are likely different.

2013-08-20 08:02:11 AM
Well, the guys behind the table wouldn't want them pointed at them. They makes the rules so they get to point them.

So... someone at The Blaze reads Fark threads.

Also, this is what they mean when they say "every gun is pointed at YOU!"

2013-08-20 09:22:41 AM
That's absolutely ridiculous. If we went by this interpretation of the rule, a gun could never be manufactured, shipped, sold, displayed or carried, because at some point in all of those actions, it would be "pointing" at someone. Have these asshats never been to a gun store?

2013-08-20 10:10:25 AM
I've always been told that "guns don't kill people, people kill people", but I guess that's not true if these guns - lying on a table without anybody touching them - actually could kill people.

The Blaze revealing this shocking information makes me think that we should ban guns after all. Thank you, The Blaze, for keeping me infromed.

Because everyone in the room can trust that hundreds of guns in unknown condition have all been properly checked and have no hang fires.

WelldeadLink: Because everyone in the room can trust that hundreds of guns in unknown condition have all been properly checked and have no hang fires.

This is exactly what I was going to say. With that many guns it would be trivial to forget to check one, leaving it loaded. A friend of mine was killed with a 20 gauge right in front of me. It was assumed that it was unloaded, the safety was on, and a finger was off the trigger. All it took was hitting it in the right spot.

NONE of them have evidence tags through the ejection port and barrel to signify they are clear.

if you go with the goofiness the blaze suggests as relevant, wouldn't you have to ask if pointing them at the mayor would be somehow an improvement?
