This is funny because latinos only live in border towns, New York City, and Florida.

Another patient charged that Desjarlais prescribed narcotic painkillers to her for recreational use and frequently smoked marijuana with her.

Hey hey hey HEY!

He said God forgave him for that stuff. So that means you libs are never, ever to speak of it again.

Because that's what forgiveness means. Total silence, and pretending that shiat never happened.

I can understand being able to dehumanize "undocumented aliens" to the point where you don't even think of them as human beings.  But what kind of a person literally cheers a little girl being separated from her father?

I'd say the problem was the crowd, and not the guy with the mic. I mean, the guy had a point, there are immigration laws and under those laws, the father should be deported -- he's not the one that cheered, it was the crowd.

It's actually consistent with there stance on abortion.  They're punishing the child for something their parents did and had no control over.

It's sickening, really.

"Tea Party" anywhere near your name pretty much guarantees that you're a piece of shiat.

But giving a "You'll take it and like it!" response to a 10-year-old girl who's suffering from anxiety due to her father being deported?

You should be put down like a sick dog, only in the cruelest way possible.

Yeah, I was talking about the crowd.  It's clear from the article that the politician is a piece of shiat.  I guess the crowd shows how such a man can be elected... he really does represent his base.

During a question and answer session at the meeting, Molina stepped up to the microphone and, with a quavering voice, asked, "Mr. DesJarlais, I have papers, but I have a dad who's undocumented. What can I do to have him stay with me?"

Rather than make any attempt to assuage the girl's fears, Desjarlais said, "Thank you for being here and thank you for coming forward and speaking," but "the answer still kind of remains the same, that we have laws and we need to follow those laws and that's where we're at."

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law: judgment, mercy, and faith. These ought ye to have done and not to leave the other undone. Ye blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!"

Constituent services is a huge part of what politicians do. He should have told the girl to leave her contact information with his staff so that they could look into it. It doesn't matter if he couldn't do anything for her, he could have demonstrated the smallest amount of human decency.

Well it wasn't her father, who is currently being deported. Perhaps whomever did bring her was doing so in the long shot hope of keeping her and her Dad together, instead of the cynical reason you ascribe. Sounds crazy, I know.
