No. It's not. It's a nice logo, but let's not get carried away here.

Also, I'm curious when ESPN got all fashion conscious. Dude's taking points off because there are too many caps or the font has too many nubbins on it. And I HATE THE YANKEES, but there's no way their classic pinstripes should put them in 7th place.

I criticize the dude for caring and then I go and care. Bah!

Yep. It happened in yesterday's Cards - Cubs game. Bases loaded, infield fly rule was called. SS catches ball, runner takes off from third, SS stands there with his thumb up his ass for a couple more seconds, then throws home way too late, Cards score another run.

Pirates at 11?  no.  Easily top 5.  Those togs are tight, yo.

in no order:

Dodger homes.  iconic, simple, clean lines, regal blue (yeah i know purple is regnant, but the dodger blue is regal as shiat.

A's.

San Dog cammies.  those are tight.

pinstripes are overrated.

Never thought I'd be saying this, but this set is bad enough to make a fella nostalgic for their original purple and teal design.

yeah, the snakes togs are boring.  Yeah, Snakes, WE NEEDED ANOTHER GODAMN RED TEAM.  Red Sox, Reds, Nats, Cardinals, Angels, Snakes, and then to an extent, Phillies, Braves, Rangers, and Cleveland.  yeah.  we needed more red.  Say what you want about the Purple, that shiat was one of a kind.  you always knew who was playing when you saw the purple.  now wer'e just another boring red team.

I happen to like colors. Home whites, road greys for everyone is just boring. The Yankees uni is classic, I get it, but it's boring to me.

As for the Cubs, I've always been partial to the 1980's variation:

Starlin Castro with another boneheaded play.  This is the guy that was once not even watching the batter when the pitcher threw.  he was jawing at his own dugout or the 3rd baseman.

There is no other uniform in the whole wide world of sports that is as classy as the Tigers home whites.

but the dodgers use of blue is better.  the cubs togs aren't bad, they just aren't anywhere near as cool as LA's.

Lukas has been writing for ESPN since 2004, according to his bio. And probably been doing Uni Watch for longer. It's dumb, but most sports coverage is dumb.

The Yankees don't put names on their road uni's.  It comes off a little like 'We are the NEW YORK YANKEES! Of course you know all our players by their numbers!!'  Arrogant.

I still think no names is a better look, but, yeah...

Or it's exactly as they've been wearing their uniforms since numbers on the back became a thing, and there's no reason to change just because you missed the lineup introductions while standing in line for a beer or are too dumb to look at the screen or listen to the PA when each player comes to the plate.

Isn't 'pulling out Wahoo' what got David Cone in trouble years ago in NY?

Obviously I am partial to St Louis but Pittsburgh is ranked way too low as are the Yankees.

I would say:
1 - Cardinals
2 - Yankees
3 - Dodgers
4 - Tigers
5 - Pirates

The "infield" part of the infield fly rule refers to the player, not the location. If an infielder can catch it with an ordinary effort (not sure of the exact wording off the top of my head), there are less than 2 out and runners on first and second, it counts. No matter where that ordinary effort takes the infielder.

Though with the Red Sox he complimented their home white jerseys (which contain the classic red lettering) while saying the road greys (with navy blue lettering) fall flat.

The red alternate uniforms are almost universally ugly as shiat.

I thought this article had the 'stros ranked too damn high, especially with this as their legacy. Love the lids, don't get me wrong, but it truly looks like they bought what was on clearance at the local Dick's Sporting Goods for the rest of the kit.

And, I may be in the minority here, but I like the Brewers' gear, even the gold alts. So long as it doesn't have that #8 on the back, it looks pretty good.

/Looked especially good getting 3-hit by Kershaw on my trip out there in May.

The Braves need to do away with their home reds and road navy blues. Those are atrocious. I like their throwback weekend home unis.
