IdBeCrazyIf: We have a nice who loved chicken nuggets, I mean she'd horf those things by the pound. So one day I asked her to watch something real quick, and I showed her the pink slime video.

She doesn't eat nuggets anymore.

Yeah, but you showed her a lie (if it's the one with the raspberry sherbert looking stuff standing in as chicken meat at least). Chicken is much paler when ground and blended.

Plus, they don't use mechanically separated meat in their chicken nuggets.  Yeah, it's thrown in a giant blender.  The MSP is in some hot dogs though.

http://www.mcdonalds.ca/ca/en/food/all-access_moms/from_chicken_to_m cn uggets.html It's a touchy feely ad/propaganda piece, but it does show the real chickens in part.  It leaves out the messy "blend the chicken breasts up and mold into the shape we all love.

Also, since mad cow, mechanically separated beef is a not allowed to be produced in the US due to fears of contamination of spinal and brain tissue in the process.

Show you niece this next time, at least for a laugh

Fark you. Nuggets are the only thing I like at McDonalds. I'd still nom them even if they contained spider babies and dog.

schoolbread: croesius: I'm actually relieved that they found proof of actual chicken in the nuggets. Wouldn't you be more worried if they did NOT find bits of chicken hair in them?

Very true.

Yah, but it just goes to show they aren't shaving all the fur off the chickens before they butcher them.

I quail hunt with 12 gauge shells packed with rock salt and peppercorns.

Wow, that's brilliant.

Or insane. Or both.

They don't shave them at all.  They skin them with the hair attached.  I have a friend who works in their corporate office and you can buy the pelts at their employee outlet.  He got me a few and I made some seat covers.

Capn.Brownbeard: Lady J: i must see one of these hairy chickens

I never thought I would refer to a chicken as "fancy", but that is a fancy chicken.

They're just wolf hairs.  McNuggets are 80% wolf hair and chopped up pieces of credit cards.

I worked at a chicken processing plant and I'm getting a kick out of this thread.
And that thread.
And those, there, under the microscope, too.

manimal2878: All food is brutal and gross, either you accept that and eat it anyway, or you become a vegan.

I'm pretty sure the chicken we just recently beheaded and then roasted wasn't mixed with ammonia and other chemicals.

I mean, i think so anyway. I did turn away from the grill for a few minutes so maybe a gremlin got in there.

Egoy3k: I'm not saying that nothing is wrong with the nuggets but honestly if you examine any food no matter how 'pure' and 'organic' under a microscope it will look disgusting.  Hell, take a high powered magnification device and look at the fingers that you eat nuggets with, I'm guessing the results are not that appetizing.

I thought everyone knew Chicken McNuggets has Morgellons Disease  filthy minimum wage farkers making them.

One of the fibers looks like it's from a feather.  The other is probably either from a worker's arm or shirt.  Whoop dee farking doo.  Fast food contains gross shiat: film at 11.

In particular, where are the hair-like structures coming from?

Perhaps from the chicken?

Under high powered microscopes pretty much anything looks disgusting. Let's do some veggies next, I'm sure there won't be any dirt or tiny bug particles on those.
