NBC news should walk away with this category.

Is this a move to shut Oprah up when she doesn't get an Oscar nomination?

I was going to say any 24 hour news network applies. Who knew hot blondes were so good at giving expert political analysis?

Isn't this another category The Daily Show should walk away with every year?

Between documentaries and reality series'? Wouldn't that be 'everything else on TV'?

Are you all starting to understand why I completely ignore awards shows, now?

/Although the Tony Awards still kind of mean something.
//Oscars and Emmys are stupid, though.

That's bull.  The Tonys are nothing more than a three-hour long ad for Broadway.  "Hey, come watch all these shows on Broadway!  None of the people you see tonight will actually be in those shows, and we care so little about the second and third-run casts that we're not even going to introduce them by name when they come on the show, instead just calling them "Boy and Girl" or "Simba."  But you should come see them anyway!"

The Emmys are probably my favorite of the awards shows, but that's probably only because I've actually seen most of the shows up for awards.

That explains why they were too busy to nominate the actual best actress in a drama this year.

Top Gear (Uk version obviously) would have run away with it a couple of years back, but now they're treading water.

What's up with "Parts Unknown"? I set up a series record on my DVR and got like 6 episodes and now it's taping repeats and sometimes other CNN shows entirely. WTF, CNN?

Seriously. Titania Maslany was ROBBED!

Do you have DirecTV?  This crap happens with me all the time.  My wife wanted to check out the new Joe Rogan show (it sucks)... one day it taped like 15 re-runs of one episode.  And, yes, we have it set to "first run only".  Ugh.

She's well on her way to winning every other available award possible, and each one of them makes the Emmys that much less significant.

Nope, Comcast. Though I did have that problem a while back. I set my DVR to tape ONLY NEW episodes of South Park and it started to tape ALL of them. Considering how often it's shown in syndication I'm lucky I caught it before it filled up my recorder.
