Nah.  Per the GOP playbook, it's time to double down.

2013-08-17 07:26:06 PM
Yeah, because the "completely shut out the lamestream media in favor of derpy echo chamber propagandists" plan worked so well for Sharron Angle.

Their thunderous queefing just makes them look terrified of Hillary.

Man its going to be so hilarious when [redacted] is the Democratic party Presidential candidate and easily wins the Presidency.

I think it is idiotic.

No Republican complains when Ronald's rigor mortised knob is slobbered by the media. They don't complain that Fox News is, IN FACT, not only a mouthpiece for the GOP but in some ways actually TELLING THE GOP WHAT TO DO (as in, they are helping manufacture this outrage and pass it on to the masses).

Jesus taptancing Christ, do people REMEMBER what "the media" has said about the Clintons over the years? Do the f*cking idiots think this will be ENTIRELY positive toward her?

Mitt Romney is doing just fine.  The losers are the American People who got fooled again. Dirty, dirty Administration we've got going on right now...

Oh, and for what it's worth, I think this is another case of GOP projection.

The politicians are in the game of idol worship, as are their media outlets and supporters, and thus they believe "everyone" thinks that way.

And until just recently Fox had a deal with NBC to produce their Clinton movie. Looks like it fell apart, though.

You know, there's always been this weird dichotomy in right wing derpy thought.  They insist on the doctrine of "American exceptionalism", that this is God's Amurica, and Jesus loves us way more than those other countries full of dark people that we'd ignore if they didn't sell us oil or build our iPods for cheap or whatever.  But at the same time, they seem to have no faith in it.  They think that most people (or at least 47%) are losers sponging off the few decent people.    And they're idiots who voted for Obama just to get more handouts (definitely not because their beloved GOP ran an old coot and then an asshat against him).

They seem to love America, but they really hate most Americans.

Step 1: cut all of your ties with the mass media.

Step 2: ?????

Step 3: Profit?

I can only hope that the GOP goes through with this, but I can tell you right now they are just blowing hot air as usual

Why is there some expectation that CNN and NBC are qualified to host a political debate apart from any Hillary pussy eating they want to do? I mean, there's a lot of so-called news outlets that would be happy to host a debate.

I gotta hand it to the pubtards, for a change. Those two 'rat networks will cave and not run the Hillary thing and they won't be able to claim that they reconsidered the appropriateness of it, at this point.

"Attacking the media is a loser's game," Eric Fehrnstrom said on Twitter.

But one that goes over really well with the GOP base. I remember the thunderous applause Gingrich got during that one debate.

Republicans plan on winning debates by boycotting them. Good plan.

Oh, the other thing, if these two 'rat networks air the thing after they've been banned from debates, it's like: "Hey, look at us, we're a 'rat network doing 'rat propaganda for Hillary after the Republicans gave us a beating!!!".

It's kind of beautiful.

The Democrats, except for Kucinch, boycotted the Fox debate, and they won the power.

The Republican party died the day I check every major poll site and Donald Trump was leading by 6 to 10 points. That''s right, Donald Trump for president. I can't take them seriously anymore.

"CBS will not broadcast The Reagans on November 16 and 18. This decision is based solely on our reaction to seeing the final film, not the controversy that erupted around a draft of the script. "

CBS's denial that it was yielding to the furor did not persuade its critics. The producers of the movie noted that, before the outcry, CBS had approved both the script for the miniseries and had seen dailies as they were shot, and the film had been approved by two sets of lawyers.

RNC attacking CNN and NBC? What BS. If it's true BTW, they're SOL. Why not try to call the VP to be a VIP ASAP and then KTITB and say GFTO! LOL!

That would be the best strategy for CNN and NBC. Their only way out of this is claiming that they are cancelling due to the movie being something else than they thought. Then they can say "we can do debates now, pweeeze?".  They get to save some some face with that bullshiat.

The problem they still have is that there is no evidence that they are qualified to host a debate even after they finesse their way out of the Hillary boondoggle.

What makes it even funnier is that according to Republicans the only reason Bill Clinton won was because of Ross Perot, so they should be afraid of a third party candidate stealing the votes and allowing Hillary to win. If Bill couldn't win on his own what chance does Hillary have?

Second I thought the talking point since about March 2009 is that compared to Obama Bill wasn't all that liberal, so wouldn't Hillary be considered an improvement?

Praising with prolific damning. I wouldn't have heard about the Hillary documentary, but if they're on the offensive to get it stopped then it might be worth looking into. Unlike between her legs, which should only be entered by UN weapons inspectors.

No, that's just how people who spend all their time in the echo chamber will see it. A solid majority of Americans will be pleased that they didn't give in to threats and will become even more disgusted with the childishness and hypocrisy of the GOP, if that's possible. By all means be as outraged about it as you like, and loudly proclaim your outrage at every opportunity. Keep flogging the Benghazi and IRS dead horses too. Seriously, I want you to.

What kind of retardedness are you babbling about now?  Everybody is going to broadcast the Republican debates (which is what we're talking about, not the general election debates) regardless of who hosts them.  The Koch brothers could host a debate at the GWBush library amid a flourish of bald eagles and historic musket fire while the subservient wives of Wall Street CEOs bathed the candidates feet in their tears, and libby libs NBC, CNN, PBS and NPR would broadcast it.  Go be retarded somewhere else.

Oh, okay then. You really love those two networks, don't you? Which one do love more?

You might need to convince Americans that your beloved networks are entitled to host debates. The Democrats did alright after boycotting the Fox debate, so you'll probably have to make a case why Al Sharpton and Candy Crawley's networks are more worthy to host a debate.

Yes, because it will not be entirely negative toward her.

Remember, these are the same people who view the act of agreeing with President Obama on anything at all (except on the subject of whether or not Kanye West is a jackass) or even taking a position on any subject that's not diametrically opposed to President Obama's position on that subject as tantamount to prostrating yourself before President Obama, accepting him as your Lord and Savior, and blaspheming the name of the One True God Ronald Reagan and His Prophet Rush Limbaugh.

/I just love saying "President Obama." Rubs salt in the teabaggers' wounds that the leader of the free world is a guy whose father couldn't even drink from the same water fountain as them back in their day

I don't even own a TV and couldn't care less about any of the networks. As for being "worthy" of hosting a debate, what are you even talking about? The RNC is making this threat specifically over this movie, it has nothing to do with whether or not they're "worthy". But keep talking, really. People like you do more to get Democrats elected than Al Sharpton ever has or ever will.
