The biographers have facts on their side. They must be wrong!

I like how one of the two biographers who are complaining that the movie being political malpractice wasn't above doing political malpractice himself.

Wikipedia for Paul Kengor: His book The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis: The Untold Story of Barack Obama's Mentor, was published in 2012 and presents his theory that Frank Marshall Davis, an activist writer and journalist during the 1940's, was working for the Communist Party USA and was a mentor and significant influence on the political outlook of Barack Obama.[4]

The Reagan years were the worst period in American history since the Nixon years, and remained the worst right up until the Bush II years. It was just my rotten luck that I had to live during all three presidencies.

The previous president (Carter) had only one black man in his cabinet too (Cyrus Vance). That must mean that he is a racist too then, right?

Sometimes I wonder why people think that if you hire the best people available for the job and then the end result is not perfectly balanced racially that you must be a racist. You work with what you have, not what you want.

Maybe he was gay and being gay is the new black.

You don't have to be race other than white to understand racism.  Being another race (other than white) means you only understand it from one perspective which is, in a way, sort of selfish..

Estimated.  Should be easy enough to meet the 30M budget though.  FWIW, I liked the previews (although the Oprah branding was a real turn off) and will probably catch it on a $5 movie night.
