(Fox Sports)   Tim Tebow went 1-7 last night, for -1 passing yards, and a 0.0 QB Rating. Technically, this means we all had more passing yards than Tim did, and we didn't even play last night   (msn.foxsports.com) divider line 83
More: Interesting, Tim Tebow, passer rating, Colin Kaepernick

IAmRight: Piizzadude: teto85: Lifeless: That's two more than Kaepernick.

Timmy is fighting to be #1 backup on the Pats.  The guy on the 49ers fighting to be #1 backup went 6 - 9 72 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for about 25 in several scrambles.  Timmy will be lucky to make it as #3 clipboard holder.  Good thing he has that college degree to fall back on.

So I still have a shot. I am doing better....

So Timmy should be starter for the 49ers then? I mean, he threw for more yardage in a random meaningless game.

Oh wait, things matter when it's in line with what we want to believe. They don't matter when we disagree with them.

No he shouldnt be playing QB

No, it matters because he put up those nightmare numbers against a 3rd team defense where most, if not all, of those guys will be on the practice squad or working drive thru come week 1

Those things do no matter to the Teblows.

GreatGlavinsGhost: FriarReb98: GreatGlavinsGhost: FriarReb98: traxan: He ran for 30 yards, threw for -1.

FFS Bill, make him a fullback already.

The thing here is that in the Patriots offense, he could play just about any position and do whatever he's best at.  The key is convincing  Tebow he can, and that is obviously the part that's taking time.  And the problem is, given how the offseason went, they need him to get it now.

Someone needs to get this to the anointed one. Perhaps as a Bible-y kind of saying. Include some bit about pride ...

It needs to be short, and to the point.  But that's impossible, you can't make a Bible verse that small....

If there was an incentive ... like if Tebow rented out his eye black.

Why not, half the photoshoppers on the internet have played with his eye black at one point or another.

He graduated from the University of Florida in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Family, Youth and Community Sciences.

Sheesh, even his college degree is disgustingly saccharine.

He has tons of experience circumcising Phillipino boys too so he could always fall back on that.  But with his accuracy issues...

Sadly with Kolb looking like the starter for the bills with Manuel hurt Tebow won't be the only QB way out of position in the AFC east.

Orton Faithful? There is such a thing?

It seems possible with the way people are comparing Orton & Saint Tebow.

He has lots of money, he's on the roster of a highly ranked NFL team, and, unlike the people you listed here, he's not a criminal. So I think he can be considered a winner.

If money makes you a winner, then there's no need to be the starting QB of a football team.  Tebow could make as much money or more on talk shows.  Goodness knows he would have enough people who are willing to pay for it. So why is he trying so hard at something he isn't suited for?

And how much of that is because he spends 99% of his time thinking he should be the quarterback?
