This actually not a good thing.

Apparently rabbits go into this trance mode when placed on their backs. They are vulnerable in ths position and are compliant. They cn snap out of it suddenly d injure themselves as they bolt awake.

Jesus tittyfarking Christ...  It's not playing dead to escape a predator, it's extremely relaxed. It's a seriously pampered bunny being gently stroked whole laying comfortably stretched out in a bunny hot tub. If you were laying comfortably in a human-sized hot tub you'd be just as relaxed. I've been there, it's farking relaxing.

You're not a rabbit. You're anthropomorphizing. Rabbits have an instinctual "play dead" response which these humans -- and you -- are misinterpreting. Note how the rabbit is agitated when it "wakes up".

That looked agitated to you when it woke up? You really need to smoke a joint and take a soak in a hot tub yourself because you're being stupid. Unwad your panties.

Yeah the cuteness of the video sort of evaporates when it becomes visibly agitated.

As the reference article I posted points out the rabbits behavior upon coming out of a TI episode is unpredictable. Of the several articles I've found most of them say its fine for inducing cooperation for nail clipping but to also take precautions because of potential of injury. Using it as a parlor trick is also not reccomended.

Of course, if you really want to make something good, nothing beats a good old Louisiana Back-bay Bayou Bunny Bordelaise,a la Antoine
