(Daily Mail)   Moyes is already whining like SAF, Wenger has spent £80 on a wheelie bin and stale chips, and the Special One is already stirring the pot. Colour me chuffed, it's the start of the 2013/14 English Premier League season   (dailymail.co.uk) divider line 17

UPDATE: Sky Sports now reporting that Post is in "advanced negotiations" with Arsenal and could be a Gunner by Monday if he passes his physical.

UPDATE 2: Post has signed with Napoli for an undisclosed fee.

dietbubba: HaywoodJablonski: Unfreakable: Jumping in, last year we had talked about a prize for whoever had the best record in the Predictions league, but for all the talk, there wasn't any follow-through. If you guys want, I'll act as the impartial intermediary to guarantee the prize and collect the money if everybody agrees. It'll be an honor system, still, but I'll put my name on the line to make sure it happens for you guys.

I will be a benefactor. How about a team shirt for the winner's club? Second place gets a set of steak knives.

3rd place?

You're fired

Chupacabra Sandwich: Gosling: No, I'm not interested in following the Cambodian league long-term, but I could stand to see one game of it.

You're alone there.

I don't know, who doesn't love match-fixing and a dangerous lack of security?

Some bright points for Arsenal:

Rosicky looked pretty good
They threatened to score even after going down a man
Man City is believed to be willing to pay  £7 million for the wheelie bin during the January transfer window

Norfolking Chance: star_topology: I like this guy already. He painted a beautiful picture of the Liberty Stadium with his words prior to kick off: "rain falling from slate gray skies."

Is he talking about Wales or Manchester?

Sagna in a heap.

On the bright side, he can probably give himself a blowjob whenever he wants now.

After an hour, the MIGHTY Oxford United are up 2-0. If that holds up they'll have P3 W3 with a +6 goal difference and will be topping League Two.

I don't know about third, but I have it on good authority that 4th place gets a trophy.

Been waiting for this for months. And a happy goodbye to you, Saturday productivity.

I went out and bought a coffee at Starbucks this morning, which means, if my calculations are correct, that I've spent more in one morning than Wenger has all summer on transfers.
