That show is Bialystock & Bloom's worst nightmare. Should flop, but somehow keeps going.

Geeeezzz, when will Bono cut off funding his shiatfest musical.

/ran for something like 2 years under 'can't charge full price admission until the bugs are worked out'.
//Yep, that Bono.

Bono has nothing to do with the funding spigot.

Previews are not discounted. But you can get discounts to previews.

I have seen the show a few times but am not a judge for Guiness or their crapfest records. It's cool for what It is and there is nothing else like it. So it has that going for it.

I'm embarrassed to say that I really enjoyed it when I saw it, and that was even before the overhaul.  The original actor who played Norman Osborn/Green Goblin was great.  Granted, the Arachne plot and the Geek chorus was a little too meta, but having Spidey run down the aisle (we were in the Mezzanine) jump up on the edge and swing down to the stage was thrilling enough to be worth it.

Easily the worst musical I've ever seen.  Cool costumes and forced perspective sets,but the plot, dialogue and songs were awful. Especially the songs, to the point where the audience I was in audibly groaned at the start of each successive one.

Harry Shearer has described "The Day The Clown Cried" as an object perfect in its terrible-ness,... that is how I felt as I walked out of "Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark."

/at least the tickets were free

Thought it was a lot of fun. The main songs were solid U2-esque stuff but the female and villian songs were lackluster. All in all it was a really fun show.

 "Another "Spider-Man" cast member ker-thunks when they should have gone ka-zipp "

One of my favorite FARK headlines ever.

From what I heard, it's supposed to be great for those mommy/daddy-and-me outings.  Smart business move for der Boner.
